Our waiter was excellent - friendly and great service. The Chips and Queso was very good. My wife said the chicken fried steak was excellent. Give this restaurant a try if you are traveling through the Uinta Basin.

Wonderful steakhouse in downtown Vernal. Nice location and well designed with a welcoming ambience.

Plentiful and helpful staff and delicious food over an expansive menu

I often eat here with my family and every single time they never disappoint. I absolutely love all the food and especially the desserts! All the servers always treat me with great respect. Absolutely a 10/10 restaurant.

This is a destination!! Don't miss this place if you are anywhere nearby. The menu is amazing. The food outstanding. A map of the river in the floor leads to the restrooms. The service is excellent. We had the sunburned mussels. I've had mussels all over the US and Canada. These are hands down the best anywhere. The shrimp artichoke Caesar was good but they drowned the salad in some cheese dressing. Leave that off next time. Otherwise it's a wilted lettuce salad not a Caesar. The hamburger with green chilies, avocado, etc was incredible. My husband ate half and simply couldn't finish. One burger is enough for 2 people. The Parmesan fries were excellent but eat them hot when they first come out. This place was so good and had such an interesting menu we're coming back for lunch before we leave Vernal. I want to try their fried cauliflower with buffalo sauce. Frankly I'm tempted to just get appetizers so I can try more of their interesting menu. What are these people doing in Vernal!?! Second day: the fried Buffalo cauliflower is so delicious. Love the Sriracha sauce. I asked them to add enough to make it pink.. perfect! Oysters Rockefeller excellent. Side salad with blue cheese excellent. The dressing must be homemade it's so good. The homemade rolls with honey butter were so excellent yesterday (they came with the meal) we ordered them as a side today with our salad. Honestly I'd almost move to Vernal this place is so good.

It’s always fun to come here when we’re passing by. I had the grilled ribeye steak medium rare it was very tasty. My husband had the prime rib and it was to die for.

Our hotel manager recommended this to us and I was very impressed. Cool vibe and long history, good recommendations on beer (smoked directional porter) and supper (Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo).

Our waitress was very attentive, and the food was very good. Charbroiled steak was cooked to perfection and had excellent flavor. Definitely will come back next time I'm in the area.

We have gone to swains a few times and enjoyed most trips over. Anytime we go over we request Sam who is the most amazing server ever. She’s very attentive and has the most amazing personality you could ask for. She always makes our experience the best ever. I won’t have any server but her!!! The food is usually always spot on. If you ever have any questions Sam is always quick to respond about everything on their menu.
If you’re ever in vernal, she is definitely the best one to ask for and request if you want good service!!

Our large group of wrestling officials only had to wait a little bit for them to set up an area that would accommodate 15+ people.
Then the service was pretty good, especially since the place was pretty slammed, busy, and full of guests.
I know it was a big ask for us show up and take like a quarter of the restaurant!..but they did it, and it was a really enjoyable evening! Good IPA on tap.

Got the Cattlemans Burger. It is amazing. Sweet BBQ sauce, onion rings, bacon, and cheese. The fries were so good.

My wife got the Pesto Chicken Sammich.
It was really good, artichoke hearts, Chicken, cheese and pesto sauce.

We ordered Chicken Fettuccini n a Shrimp/Artichoke salad! The Fettuccini was very good, but my Caesar salad was literally soaked in dressing! I'd have it again but with the dressing on the side! A yr later n had it again but asked for dressing on the side!

The green chili burger was good. The blackened prime rib was amazing! I was mad at my wife when I found out she ate my blackened prime rib leftovers. I don't get mad over leftovers but there is always a first.

Finally made it back again (3 years later.) I ordered the blackened prime rib. Still taste amazing, just like I remembered it. Only issue was my steak was overcooked. 9 out of 10 rating.
I also got a side of onion rings. They were nice and crispy, and seasoned well. I would rate them 7 out of 10

I got the Atlantic Salmon and a Bahama Mama. The server was nice, the fish was juicy and tasty, and the drink was great. My partner got the ribeye. It was juicy and tender.

The food here is still excellent. And the service was adequate today. The server seemed a little forgetful but still provided exceptional service.
Overall, this is a great place to eat.

What a great restaurant. The food was fresh. There are plenty of items to choose from... And the service was wonderful.

Busy for a Sunday night. Food was very good. Tricky part was our server wasn’t old enough to take our drink order so we had to wait for the bartender to come over.

The half off burgers on Saturday are the best! My server was so good, the food was amazing!!! I 10/10 recommend

Went to the new location for the first time this morning for breakfast and had good food "couldn't even finish such a huge meal".
Great service Kota I believe was her name was awesome and friendly. The place looked nice and for the most part clean "floors under the tables could have been swept as there was a knife that was not from our meal left behind" The old location was hit and miss, great one time not so great the next so I hope that has changed and it's great every time at the new location.

This place is a winner. The burgers were the best tasting and most affordably priced we’ve had in quite some time!

Excellent! We ended up eating here 2 nights. Steak and Mahi, Tempura Shrimp, best Chicken Fried steak by far. . so delicious and the service was great as well. Can't beat the price! It was HUGE servings...we shared the 2nd night. The carrot cake could feed 4 people! Highly recommended.

Swain Brothers is an awesome option for dinner when you're in the Vernal area. There are a ton of menu options. The steaks are great and they always have a special that provides excellent value.
