Alpenglow Stube

Excellent dinner! We sat at the chef's table and received a complimentary berry cream tart and bacon jam bruschetta before our meal. In addition, we ordered the wedge salad, lamb tikka masala, and the pork chop, which were all delicious. It was an incredibly beautiful gondola ride up and they give you a blanket to keep warm. Service was excellent but they didn't offer us the slippers as they had on previous occasions and ran out of hand warmers for the way down. Expect to spend $30-40 on each entree and $15-20 per cocktail or glass of wine. Overall, it was an amazing experience for a special date or celebration.

The staff were incredible! We attended an absolutely gorgeous wedding reception here and were blown away by the staff and the meal. Best beef tenderloin I’ve had in years. The bar tender was friendly and willing to make any cocktail she had the ingredients for. And the views were stunning. On the way down, they provided blankets for the unexpected cold from the summer snowstorm. A truly incredible experience.

This is my favorite spot in Colorado to have an on the mountain lunch after a full morning of skiing. We have eaten here a couple of times and never have had a bad experience, the room is very cozy and the food is excellent. If you're skiing at Keystone I couldn't recommend highly enough to stop by Alpenglow Stube for a meal.

Beautiful location on top of the Keystone ski resort. Be careful with the wine, you're at 11,400 feet!

Pricey but expected as you're dining on a mountain peak that takes two different gondolas to get to. We shared the Calamari and Pork Belly appetizers. Both very tasty, although the portions could have been a little larger. For entrees I had the Pork Chop, it was excellent. The wife had the lamb, she said it was wonderful. The special dessert was chocolate mousse, very tasty.

They must schedule reservations in a way as to not fill the restaurant more than 1/2 to 2/3 full. It was nice to not be packed in. Even if they filled to 100% it wouldn't feel packed in as the tables are spaced appropriately.

Absolutely fantastic. Alpenglow Stube consistently has not only fantastic food, but wonderful service to boot. I love the experience of making the trip up the gondolas, and taking friends and family for the unique experience. So great, that we had them cater our wedding which became one of the more memorable moments for our guests. Our anniversary meal was also completely comped despite us exceeding our budget limit. Awesome.

Ive been to this place several times. A times it was amazing, at times it was good but finding it's way. Right now, it's got it together. The menu is very focused, the wine list is stellar and it has one of the best scotch lists in the area. It goes without saying that the atmosphere is just awesome. You're two gondola rides from the base area, and it makes this place peaceful beyond compare.

My advice, get an early reservation, and plan on the sunset as you're leaving. Because it's the best dessert you could ever have.

This atmosphere is awesome. The restaurant is owned by two chefs. The food is excellent. The service is fantastic, the wine list is extensive and pairs well with the menu. The view is stunning. When at Keystone don't miss out on the opportunity to visit this restaurant.

An amazing dining experience. The staff are fantastic and genuinely interested in helping you enjoy your time. The food is some of the best you will eat. The atmosphere is rustic, warm, and comfortable.

Take your time to appreciate everything. Even though I spent more than 2 hours here, the time flew by!

This is an experience you don't want to miss out on. You begin your journey walking through the river run village towards the gondola. As you enter the gondola someone hands you a blanket to stay warm during the ride. Once you reach the top of the first mountain you exit and walk to the second gondola. This will take you to a second mountain and the views from this gondola are breathtaking. Once we entered the building we were greeted and sat almost immediately. Our server was kind and knowledgeable when it came to the food and wine. The food was absolutely outstanding with their unique flavor profiles. This place does not disappoint any expectations. A must try in the keystone area!

Food and service are excellent given the limited customer base due to it's location and difficulty of bringing inventory. We dined for Sunday brunch so options were different. We found the basic brunch buffet a bit limited but of good quality. We had an entree with it, and bit of us enjoyed ours immensely. Brooks, the general manager, waited in us and was fantastic.

I asked my wife to marry me on a sunset ride up the gondola to this restaurant. She said yes! They were in on the plan so the restaurant treated us like royalty, and the food was delicious. It is a wonderful memory. The only thing that almost messed it up was a ski lift operator at the bottom of the mountain who said "Congratulations!" to us before I'd popped the question. I told him I didn't know what he was talking about. That's just a funny side story though. We love the memory of this place.

We went to Alpenglow Stube with our family of 12 - adults + children, ages 8-12 for a birthday celebration. It was a lovely evening all around from the two gondola rides, to the waitstaff who took very good care of the children, to the lovely ambiance. They loved the hot chocolate with homemade whipped cream! I had ordered a birthday cake and it was spectacular! Thank you!

Food is very nice, service is exceptional. Two gondola rides to reach the restaurant makes it a unique experience. Get the blankets for your ride back down the mountain.

Ate here on 2/21/20. Treated like royalists from the beginning till the end, including the gondala ride there and back. Food was incredible. But our waiter Charles ( broken arm), made our experience the reason it was incredible. Superior knowledge of the menu and provide d us with the best choice es. . He was outstanding along with the foood

Took the kids to show them where world class skiing is. Found this tiny shop to grab something and was pleasantly surprised by prices and choices. Good spot to grab crepes or coffee . Lots of choices and great vibe. Bring your appetite.

My fiancé and I came here for the brunch buffet. It was amazing. ~43$ will give you access to the breakfast for 10$ you also get an entree and mimosa. The buffet was more than enough but we decided to go all out. The buffet consists of a range of cheese, pastries, seafood (shrimp, crab, mussels, oysters). It was amazing. The staff and even the other guests were very friendly. It is very expensive and I wouldn't come here regularly, but I would recommend it to anyone to at least experience it once.

I had the special opportunity to be taken to Alpenglow Stube for my 30th birthday. Little did I know it would also be the place that my boyfriend chose to propose! We got to ride 2 different gondolas to get up to the restaurant, by far the most unique way I've ever traveled for dinner. We started our night with Jeremy at the bar - creating us some specialty cocktails. At our table Charles took excellent care of us with his attentiveness and help with our wine selection. I could not have asked for a better experience. The food was all amazing, from the bacon flight we got as our appetizer right down to the mango creme brule for dessert. In addition, everyone who was working collaborated with my boyfriend to help surprise me for one of the best nights of my life. I would highly recommend Alpenglow Stube to anyone who is looking for a very special and unique experience, or anyone who is interested in fantastic food!
