Slootmaker Family Dental is the best! Everyone there is so warm and welcoming and the space itself is really cozy. I typically get dentist office anxiety, but not here! I felt completely comfortable and cared for the entire time. They are great at explaining everything and have transparent and reasonable pricing. I'm so happy to have found them and would recommend them to everyone.

Really great experience, the most relaxed and comfortable and charming dental office ever, transparent pricing, and Dr. Slootmaker and her team are extremely knowledgeable about what they do and actually listen and consider patient needs and wants and goals. She blends traditional and biological dentistry really carefully and to best care for the patient. So happy to have found my new dentist.

Everyone here is so welcoming and kind! I look forward to every appointment I have, from the music to the decorations, it's a pleasure to be in the space. Every hygienist I've had is knowledgeable and professional, and I always have a lovely time chatting. The dentist, Jenna, is the gentlest person and it's easy to feel comfortable with her immediately, and her assistant, Sonny, is a bundle of joy who you can tell is passionate about her job! Any work I have done is gentle and I'm informed of why things are happening, which I really appreciate. Pronouns are asked and respected as well, which is so important and appreciated! I highly highly recommend this office, especially if you are nervous about the dentist! Everyone will be treated equally and with lots of love.

Slootmaker Family Dental has taken away all of my anxiety surrounding dental work. For 9 years I did not go to the dentist because it made me so nervous but I decided to give this place a try and they have completely taken away all of my worries and have given me back so much confidence in my smile. I am so thankful for the staff for always being so encouraging and personable during my appointments!

I have never trusted a dentist like I trust Dr. Slootmaker. She is skilled and knowledgable, but also kind, approachable and does everything in her power to keep you both comfortable and healthy.
After having lasting bad effects twice following dental work around amalgam fillings, I needed an old crown and filling removed and was very nervous. Dr. Slootmaker has an air vacuum (Horton), charcoal tablets, charcoal rinse, a mouth block, AND most importantly sealed nasal oxygen supply so you don’t inhale mercury vapor. She has nitrous for those who prefer it (not me). I had zero after effects. I recommend Dr. Slootmaker to anyone, but especially anyone who has dental anxiety. The beautiful and relaxing office is a solid plus. Highly, highly recommend.

Wow - what a great practice and staff. I could not be happier with my exam, cleaning, and visit. Melanie was very thorough and gave me some good advice on cleaning, and my mouth felt fantastic afterwards. Dr. Slootmaker spent time with me, going over my oral history, as well as doing an exam. The office manager Lida was helpful and pleasant. Highly recommended, you won't find a more competent and friendly practice!

This place is seriously great. All the techs and assistants...even the front desk are great!
Just switched over from another office in town which I originally thought was good, until I noticed some quality issues and then just kept seeing more and more things of concern.
I came to this office and have been delighted with each visit. I just had a crown done and was waiting for the usual feeling of being kicked in the head to sink in after the anesthesia wore off, but had little more than a very slight ache....as to be expected (at the very least). No maring of the surrounding tissues and the temporary fit great out the door. No bite corrections necessary! The atmosphere is great...very soft and relaxing. I can’t recommend this office enough. Colleen is a fantastic! Thanks a lot for making one of my worst/hated situations a breeze. Keep up the good work!

I have been seeing Dr. Slootmaker for a couple years now. I was referred by a friend of mine who also used to be terrified of the dentist...she went to many dentists for a consultation (actually got up from 2 chairs and just walked out) until she finally found Dr. Slootmaker. When I first came I needed a LOT of dental work partially from neglect and partially from poorly done old dental work. With progressed TMJ dysfunction and a bad bone infection Dr. Slootmaker took excellent care of me. She took time to explain to me each and every tooth on my xray and treatment OPTIONS...that is right no “you must do this” but here are your options. The office really worked with me as much as possible and I am finally so happy with my smile and not afraid of the dentist (well not Dr. Slootmaker at least). I see Neely also for cleanings and have had no soreness whatsoever after...amazing. She is the best. With TMJ dysfunction going to the dentist can be quite painful for me but these guys are always so senitive to that and I definitely feel like they listen and address all of my concerns. Lastly, the dental work is just pure perfection and that is perhaps one of the best parts. I highly recommend!
