Some of the best breakfast choices in Fort Collins. They changed owners 1.5 years ago and man what an improvement. The cinnamon roles are AMAZING... the pork green chile is excellent and their omelettes...... perfect. 👍👍

Ps. Service was slow but the staff is friendly and communicated this well and often. As long as expectations are set up front this is less of an issue. 👍

Ate here for the first time last week, and I'm absolutely sad that we haven't come here sooner and that we're leaving out of state. My husband got the 2 egg plate and a coffee, I got the French toast with strawberries and a Caramel latte and a cinnamon roll (huge) to go. I forgot to take a picture of the roll. Food was delicious. My only concern was the huge fly that was flying near us/ the window next to us. Staff was amazing and attentive. Would come back if we weren't leaving the state.

Excellent food, owners and waitstaff! Owners came and talked to us personally and told us about over 90 percent of their food was made from scratch! We will definitely continue to come back!

The staff is extremely personable and the food is incredible. I also thoroughly enjoyed the espresso. The restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is great. This is my new favorite spot in foco!

We just love the BPC and enjoy breakfast and lunch items equally. And the entire menu is available all day. I haven’t found any place that makes better chicken fried steak anywhere. I’ve gotten so spoiled, I won’t even order it anywhere else. The quiches. wraps, sandwiches and salads are all delicious. They smoke their own fish & meats. Bake everything from scratch on premise. The sourdough cheddar is to die. for. Their pies, also made in house are delicious. We’ve had nearly everyone they make and can’t pick a favorite because they’re all that good.

Updated review 12/27/2023. As shown in the photos, we enjoyed the smoked prime rib dip, one of the current specials and I recommend getting one while they’re available. The meat is melt in your mouth tender and that it’s served on grilled sour dough bread is so much better than the typical roll because it makes a really nice bite.

Backporch Cafe is absolutely the best best to get breakfast or lunch in Fort Collins. The fresh baked bread and pies are unmatched. I’m obsessed with their sandwiches and fries, and sometimes I drive from out of town just to eat the chocolate pecan pie. If you’re looking for the perfect spot for a delicious, comforting breakfast or lunch, pick here! (My plate before and after as proof.)

We love the Back Porch Cafe sooooo much! The food is amazing, the atmosphere and setting is so unique and awesome, outside seating is like you're in the secret garden... and our server Eva was absolutely extraordinary! Highly recommend this place to everyone!

Our favorite local spot in Fort Collins. Busy on the weekends but they've always been so nice and get us in pretty fast. My husband gets their pork green chili on everything. I like their rotating specials, they've always got something new to try! And we always ask for a loaf of sourdough bread to go before we go! We're gonna get a holiday pie this Thanksgiving to share with family from out of town, excited about that! Can't say enough good things about this wonderful cafe local to northern Colorado.

Recently celebrated my graduation here with friends and family. The owners were so accommodating and really great. The food was fantastic- we had some wings, various wraps and their pulled pork sandwiches which is smoked in house. I did not have the apple pie myself but other guests in my party did and raved about that as well. It's a warm and cozy little place and was perfect for our celebration needs. Would recommend them to others and will be back for more of their delicious food!

I have came here forever, I used to come here when it was smaller with my grandparents, they sense have expanded a bit but it’s still a cozy mom and pop restaurant.

My friends work here now, they are the most kind hearted loving people you will ever meet! So just knowing that they higher people like that make me want to come back all the time!!

On Sundays expect like an hour wait around 10-1:30. (It’s so worth it I promise!)

I took my momma here and the food was amazing! I ordered the scramble with the green chili. The coffee was so good too! The owner was super friendly and visited with us for a bit and gave mom and I a cinnamon roll and wow it was so delicious!!! I recommend this place! We will surely be back!

A) The "Dan Pat Burrito" is easily one of the best breakfast burritos in Fort Collins. I'm not sure what they're doing to that chicken, but it's gotta be something illegal in order for it to taste that good. Highly recommend smothered.
B) Small place, awesome patio, great atmosphere.
C) Staff is always happy to see you and actually cares whether or not you enjoy your meal.
D) Prices are very reasonable for what you get.

Really love their pork green chili! My wife is in love with their baked goods, specifically their sourdough bread. Their staff has always been friendly to us, even in the middle of breakfast rush. We recommend them to anyone who asks where to eat in foco. Can't wait for warmer weather to sit on their patio and enjoy a nice mimosa!

I'm a Fort Collins Native and have been dining at the Back Porch Cafe for many years. Food is always great, friendly staff, and I especially love the garden side patio ambiance. I also appreciate the condiments without high fructose corn syrup- Thank you!!

This place is amazing! The service and staff are awesome. The food, which is made from scratch daily, is fantastically delicious. The owner is a great, charismatic guy and you can tell he puts love into everything he does. I would vehemently recommend this place and will definitely be back.

we’ve come in twice before and when we walked in today the manager already knew our order and what we wanted to drink. every time we have questions he is ready to answer and very knowledgeable. all of the staff we have met is extremely friendly and quick, this place is such a gem i can see us being regulars just based off of atmosphere. the food is amazing we always make sure to leave with at least one of their home made cinnamon rolls, most definitely the best we have ever had. i highly recommend this place and if you sit at the bar its such a great and personable experience.

I have not visited in more than a year. However, I've been there several times. Food is always good; portion sizes are generous; service is friendly although less attentive when the place is busy; atmosphere is homey with indoor and outdoor seating options. Really appreciate them introducing me to Horsetooth hot sauces!

We love this restaurant and go there about once a week. They make all their own bread, cinnamon rolls, and pies in-house, and smoke their own meats. The food is high quality and delicious, and they are always welcoming and friendly. They greet my 2 yo by his name when we walk in the door. Highly recommend.

I’ve been eyeing this place for a year now. Great little yard and seating options indoors and outdoors. Staff was totally friendly, helpful and made great suggestions. We ordered the Huevos Rancheros covered with Green Chili Sauce, the Sombrero Burrito and a plate of Breakfast Sandwich with potatoes. All the food was very tasty and came out fast. See the menu for dish descriptions. I think my Huevos Rancheros could have had a smaller dose of Green Chili Sauce as it was a bit much. Over all I’m going to definitely return as the menu had lots of great options…lunch as well. Their prices were spot on for the amount of food you get! Open until 2pm! Give them a shot.
