Sunshine Café

Great place with happy people giving you great service. Loved the feel of the place and the people help it to earn the right to call it the sunshine cafe! I had the eggs benedict and I would recommend it. A great place to stop in for some food and sunshine if you are in Silverthorn.

Hands down best chai drink ever!!! It was so delicious and not only the vanilla chai, the food was fantastic!! One of the best brunch spots out here!

Go early or reserve a seat! Very busy and very tasty! We went here twice on our short trip to Silverthorne up in the Colorado mountains! I had Chicken Fried Steak the first visit and a BLT the second visit! Both are delicious, Hubby had an Omelet!

Great stop for breakfast before leaving the area to head home. Coffee was fresh, my Alferd Packer omelet was amazing, and my wife enjoyed her classic eggs Benedict. We also liked the kid's pancakes in a Mickey Mouse shape. They were very busy on a Sunday morning, but we only had to wait about 15 minutes. Service was very friendly. My only small complaint was the wait to get our food (about 20 minutes), but they were busy so we understood.

Delishious food, fantastic breakfast. From the simple to the strange breakfast items we ate, it was all good. Omlette, trout (yes trout) typical breakfast items, they were all really good and freshly made to order.

O.M.G. This place was so great that on our trip to Silverthorne we stopped here not once, but two times. The mountain flap jacks are seriously the most delicious I have had in my life… as a pancake enthusiast that is saying a lot. My bf got the breakfast burrito for our first trip and the french toast for our second trip, and he really liked them both. We had the same host both times, he was a gem. Both of our waiters were also great!

Hit this place before heading up to the mountain. Big portions and good food! We ordered off the breakfast menu even though it was lunch time. Claudio was our server/bar tender and he was great. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and excellent service from the host and the server. The cream cheese filled french toast was amazing and something new to me. The Locals Breakfast Burrito was one of the best I've ever had and even better smothered in the pork green chili. Thank you to the staff for their amazing culinary skills and hospitality! My wife and I can't wait to visit again!

At this modern diner, you can not only get typical diner food like burgers and pies, but can also get healthy entrees with balanced protein, veggies and carbs (I love the simple yet delish dinner with grilled trout, broccoli, Spanish and brown rice!

I had the Colorado Red Beef Chili. It was delicious. Go deluxe and get the onions, sour cream and tortilla!

Been coming here every June, July, and August in 2017, 2019, and 2021-2023. Usually in the area for 10-12 days in July-August, so I come here FREQUENTLY. If you're near the counter, you can't miss all the awards on the wall...for good reason! Some of the most delicious breakfasts right here! Huevos Rancheros, or Enchiladas & Eggs, and even Trout & Eggs! And can't ignore lunch...while I'm normally running around and missing it, I manage to get in once in a while, and the Foxy Lady (turkey, avocado, lettuce, tomato) is my go-to, and never disappoints! Try them all!

Someone recommended this restaurant to me on our way to the mountains skiing. I sure am glad we stopped in. It was the best breakfast I've had in a while. Great portions for great prices. Our server was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be stopping there on our way to the ski resorts for now on. It's easy to get to right off the highway.

I forgot photos of the food but this place was great. The service was very fast. You will blink and your food and drinks will be at your table. The food was the traditional American breakfast and was delicious. I recommend.

The spicy bloody was Perfect

Another go-to spot to grab a bite before you hit he mountain. We usually get there around opening. Good food, good drinks, and great staff. It does get busy so good to keep in mind with larger groups. The bar seating is always an option and a great alternative if your solo.

Amazing food. Traveling the state and looking up "places locals eat"... didn't disappoint.

The atmosphere was cozy and friendly. The food was really good and fresh. We stopped again for breakfast. They do not disappoint. The staff is is wonderful and I feel at home. I will always come back for the warm atmosphere and wonderful breakfast.

The breakfast here was great. Can’t say for all the food but the country fried steak was delicious. Great customer service as well. Recommend coming here if you are looking for Breakfast/Brunch.

Went to sunshine cafe with a group of friends and had a great time. I got the chorizo Benny, super yummy 😀🤤😀🤤. Even though it was Valentine's Day it wasn't super slammed. All the food came out super fast and the quality was excellent. Claudio was a wonderful server he made sure all of our needs were met. It was a great experience overall.

Good food. Wait time isn't bad if you join the waitlist option on their website! This was our second time here and the food was excellent but the wait from when we sat at the table until the food arrived was pretty long.

GOTTA STOP HERE... ridiculously spectacular breakfast!! Had the #22 Trout and Eggs, which is served with toast and perfectly cooked hash browns. Also, the Vegetarian Benedict, which was absolutely insane. Sunshine Cafe has got it wired. Service, atmosphere, food, price, location - you name it & they nail it.
