Nice historical information about the railroad in Montana, specifically the electrical portion that spanned the Rockies.

Loved this place the history of Electric locomotives ends here . The Milwaukee Road Depot Musem has been loving curated by the local community, some who were here to see these Giants decomissioned. Entering Harlowton, you will see one of these electrical wonders on permanent display . Take a left at the engine and go to the end of Main Street to see and share 😀

What a wonderful place to visit if you love all things railroad especially the Milwaukee Railroad! Lots of little treasures and the lady there was so friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place!

Drove from Big Timber to vist this place on a Saturday Sept 10th. Internet says it is open. Upon arriving the sign says Memorial Day thru Labor Day. You should change your hours posted on the internet. Google Maps
