Graves Hotel

A very good place to stop for food in Harlowton. The fries were fresh-cut and perfectly salted, the fish was flaky, crispy and buttery, the water was smooth and cold, and the staff were very friendly and talkative. This restaurant has an old fashioned rural small-town cafe feeling, and I would highly recommend it.

Everything was well decorated and you could tell that there was a lot of work put into it. We stopped in for some lunch and the waitress was very kind and patient. We got to talk to the owners to and they seemed like really cool people and overall it’s just a great place to be:)

Just passing through and stopped here on a whim. Glad we did. Lunch was excellent. (You won't be leaving hungry.) Plus, after chatting with the owners, we got recommendations for a scenic route to take to our next destination. Thanks, guys! The views were amazing.

A rather unique place full of old school charm. It was an interesting place that is a work in progress. The food was simply delicious all home cooking. Courteous hosts always ready to strike up a conversation.

The Graves Hotel is being remodeled floor by floor, the third floor is ready for guests, but only if you enjoy a beautiful variety of excellently designed rooms, delicious food cooked fresh just for you, and on top of that dog friendly. The beds are new and wonderful. Jeff and Cole you and your hotel were a wonderful surprise and we loved every minute.

A piece of Montana History that is being remembered and repaired for many more years to come! We had a great stay in a comfortable room. We cannot wait to come back, because the care that is going into this historic building is shining through already. Thank you!

Keep in mind you are staying in a 100+ year old hotel, it ain't Best Western!! Having said that, it's well worth the price. Jeff & Cole are putting their heart & soul into this historic hotel and it shows. Don't forget to say hi to Jasper the big brown dog who will greet you when you walk in.

Stopped in for drinks. WONDERFUL! The owners gave a tour of their restored rooms and the genuine hospitality was refreshing. Will be staying here when we pass through next month. Do not miss out on this beautiful grand hotel!

Ate here a few times during our trip to Montana. Staff was friendly, service was quick, and the food was delicious!!!!

It was also fun to learn about the history of the building. Much of the interior is original, which was pretty neat. Felt like we were walking through time.

I believe my family and I ate here a couple of years ago and I felt like a king! We got there early around 4:30 because we were fishing out at Deadman. So we were the only ones there. We had a fantastic visit with the waitress who said she has lived here all her life. And when the chef came out to visit with us he made my whole day! I love people, and the kind hard working generous folks from Harlowton are truly throwbacks to a day when people actually cared about one another!!! You are truly gems, every one of you! Food was excellent and the portions were gigantic!! No joke, I couldn't eat half of my chicken fried steak, and I had enough for a whole other meal! I love looking out towards the river from the view you have out of the south windows in the big dining room. Don't ever let anyone or anything tell you you don't have something special in your town! Because you do.... It's called a real community!! Love to you folks and God bless you and your town!

Helpful and friendly staff. We are always greeted with a smile and they are quick to offer drinks and whatever specials are on tap.
Thursday Rib platter night and Friday Prime Rib are our favorites.
Friendly bar service and new drink specials daily.
We always have fun and enjoy our time when visiting.

What a great looking historical Hotel in Harlowton Montana. The construction is of sandstone, upon it’s completion in 1909 it was illuminated with 150 sparkling lights and hailed as... “the most elaborate display of electrical lights In this section of Montana”! We drove the Main Street in this small town and the running theme is Sandstone Buildings. I love the architecture of old buildings that are still in tact. This was a nice one.

Such a cool place. Amazing owners! The pizza was the best we’ve ate. We would highly recommend!!

We were just hoping somewhere would be open and struck gold. Such a beautiful old building, and our lunch was delicious. Definitely a recommended stop.

For a small town this was a great place to eat. I wish we would have eaten here more of the days we stayed in Harlowton.
