Julie and Tom have amazing customer service and campground is very well taken care of. We stayed here for a month and have no complains. They always keep up with mowing even in your area. Beautiful and green everywhere with singing birds and little rabbits. The location is just perfect! Its not in town so you don't have too much traffic, but still less than 20 minutes to get anywhere! Highly recommend. They will take great care of you and your needs.

Ok , looking back I thought we had left a review but maybe not! Nice, nice park. Julie was a super nice and friendly host. Weather was weird if I remember, 91 dgs one day and 29 the next with 4” snow.

This is the second time we have stayed at Pony Soldier RV. The first time was during the solar eclipse a couple years ago. Nice place, large pull through sites. The owners, Tom and Julie, are super. They remembered us from our previous stay. While it doesn't have a lot of amenities, it does have laundry, clean restrooms, WiFi and a really friendly horse.

Traveling in RV and had trouble. Needed an overnight spot last minute. They stayed up until midnight waiting for us. Gave us directions all the way to their door! Stay with them. They are kind, inexpensive and clean camp. Thank you for your help on our journey.

A really neat park and that’s what it feels like. No unnecessary rules and hard working owners. I love the coal trains going by, never did they wake me up at night. The roads are gravel but a red kind and very little dust if any at all. Very large sites with nice spaces between campers. I felt very relaxed here. A great base to go out and explore the history of the California Oregon trail. I really enjoyed being here. We had great Verizon service here.

I worked seasonally at Fort Laramie National Historic Site and stayed here at Pony Soldier for 5 months. This is by far the best RV park in the area and it’s not close.

Spacious, accommodating, and the owners are incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming people.

And regarding the reviews that mention trains….the train tracks parallel the highway and the river here, this park is actually the farther from the tracks then the other parks in the area.

It's been a year since we stayed, but it is note worthy to say it was delightful clean and hospitable. If you are traveling in the area spend one night there, if for no other reason to meet the host. They are super friendly and will share some of there produce from there garden.

We stayed here a few weeks ago on our way to South Dakota. It is very clean and since there were few campers, we pretty much got our pick of sites. Yes, there are trains that come by ( sometimes quite often), but it did not bother me at all. My wife said they woke her up a few times. We enjoyed the site and area so much that we extended our stay and had some friends come camp there also. It is actually the nicest campground in the area of all the ones we checked out and we will stay there again when we pass by next time.

This is a cute little park, very peaceful, clean and well maintained. The owner was so sweet and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again. There are a lot of freight trains that come through nearby, but I had ear plugs and the trains never woke me.

We are first time RVers and I can't think of a better place to have stayed for our inaugural weekend in our first ever motorcoach!

I was initially greeted by Ellie, who was a precious and adorable furbaby of Julie's.

Julie was wonderful, kind, and patient answering my questions upon check in! The hubby wsd thrilled with chocolate 🍫 😋.

We got the pick of sites. Our spot was nice and grassy. We pulled through with no issues and hooking up was easy peasy. Wifi strength was great.

As an obsessed railfan, the hubby was thrilled to see the trains.

We will definitely stay here again.

We felt so welcomed, and were treated so well! This is a wonderful campground, with clean bathrooms and showers, a nice layout, close to interesting historical sights, and some of the best dark skies I've ever seen. We had our telescopes out, and really enjoyed the night sky.

After been lost in the area, trying to find a decent campground after 7pm, we called this one and i had an immediate warm answer on the phone that we could definitely come there, plug everything.
The owners are extremely nice and helped us out, as we are very new to the RV experience. Big open view, everything we needed, cute rabbits to watch while having breakfast... We are very happy and fortunate to have found this campground that late. Thank you again for your kindness!!

Wonderful place to visit, far and above what one would expect from a simple RV camping spot. The owners made our visit feel more like a family visit rather than a camping trip. They took such good care of us and offered us many amenities to make things comfortable. The grounds are very well kept. The office has a small, charming store within it, including produce fresh from their gardens. We plan to make an annual visit here.

This is a great park. It is quiet, clean, and run well. It is classic Wyoming. Mrs. Massey, is a neat godly lady. I only stayed there a couple nights, but it felt very homey.

Really great place to stay! Tom and Julie, the owners are very warm and welcoming and make you feel like family the minute you walk in the door. If you like Settlers of Catan, ask the owners and they will always be up for a game night. :)

Traveling through with my telescopes, we stayed for the Dark Skies. Was able to spend a couple nights sharing the views with the owners and others and getting some good pictures of the Milky Way and some Deep Sky objects. Tom and Julie were very accommodating in getting me into a site with very little light pollution. I hope to stop by again sometime and will recommend this to other amateur astronomers.

I stayed here for the Summer of 2021 while working at Fort Laramie National Historic Site. Great RV campground. My only complaint was hearing the trains all the time.
