Beautiful views with blooming flowers until mid to late summer. Abundant wildlife. Wonderful for bird watching. Easy access to the river and reservoir. Fishing is good. A small convenience store close on the North side of the river. Camping with or without services is available. Lake Walcott State Park has RV hook-ups, tent sites, and cabins available.

We went in December so the view of frozen Walcott Lake is pretty awesome. There is a trail but we did not go on it too windy that day. No toilets available during winter ..

Fun park for fishing or enjoying the lake. There are kids swings and climbing toys and slides. There is a nationally known disc golf course. Fall and winter bring out the deer.

These are the fish I caught on Lake Walcott. It's a good place to fish and see lots of wildlife.

Such a large unspoiled area for fish and game to seek refuge. So much is only accessible by foot and that keeps it remote. I love it.

Great facilities available!! I attended a family reunion at Lake Wolcott, and it was wonderful! We congregated at a nice, big pavilion with plenty of picnic tables, in easy distance from a fully plumbed and clean restroom area. It was fun to watch disc golfers as they came by our area, and some of our group joined in the disc golfing as well! There was chipmunk watching, and plenty of trees provided shade for our several lawn chairs as we visited. We were pleased to find ample parking near the pavilion, and everyone had easy access to everything, including the very pregnant and the elderly.

I love time in the great outdoors, but especially in a place that is so well groomed! The people there are friendly and the entrance fee is minimal for the beautiful nature, nice bike paths, and frisbee golf course! Not to mention the fun gift shop, junior ranger program, and snacks in the gift shop!

A nice tranquil place to go and watch the deer walk across the grass fields, to go picnicking, fishing or camping. Good place to go for family fun. They also have a lot of back country trails you can access to watch the wildlife around the lake.

Good park, reasonable overnight rates, particularly if you have the idaho parks passport, good fishing, good boating/watersports. Little buggy in the evenings, but has a well maintained area as well as a 21 hole frisbee golf course. Definently great for day or overnight camping.
