Had a great meal at the Angry Italian. We each had a different meal and all were excellent. The only problem was my pizza was forgotten and it was 50 minutes before I got it. They made it right by comping my meal. Otherwise, everything was excellent. Staff is attentive and the atmosphere was excellent. I hate that they are closing temporarily, but look forward to going again when they re-open in 2024.
Please give me a "like" if my review helped.

Was seated in less than five minutes of arriving - ((Kate was our waitress and she was very informative, friendly, and attentive! Will definitely request her on our next visit!))
The seating was cozy, roomy, and relaxing.
Salads were extremely fresh and house made ranch very tasty! This was our first time here and will be returning. They have Chicago style deep dish pizza that I will try next as well as the mussels! I look forward to going back!

First time visiting, our server Kayla was the best. She made us feel welcome. She was constantly giving us updates on our food. The spaghetti with meatballs, clams in a wine sauce, stuffed mushrooms, and the pizza were absolutely delicious. Everything was reasonably priced. It was a great experience, and I will be coming back. They also have outside sitting.

Our waitress was very friendly and recommended some great items to choose from! We got the chicken Parmesan special, stuffed mushrooms and a side salad! The mini salad was a very generous portion too! We can’t wait to come back and try out some other dishes! Especially dessert!

We always stop by at this restaurant, when in Bristol. I have never been disappointed. We ordered the deep dish, and it was most definitely worth the wait. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this eating establishment!

We picked up a deep dish pizza and a thin crust pizza for supper. It took a little more than an hour for them to get the pizza ready. (Ordered online at 3:25, supposed to be ready 4:20, ready 4:35). But it was worth the wait! The deep dish pizza crust was not greasy or tough - it was delicious. The sauce was not too sweet or too highly seasoned. The thin crust pizza was great too! Not cracker thin or greasy - it was the favorite among the kids. We will definitely eat here again- take out and dine in both!

Visited while on vacation. I’m sorry I didn’t get our servers name, but she was very patient and helpful with our sons food sensitivities. She recommended a delicious dish (forgot name, pic below!). No waiting. Service took a little bit, but not overly long.

Title: "Passionate Plates at 'The Angry Italian' – A Love Story Disguised as a War on Mediocrity!"

Buckle up, dear gastronomes, because dining at 'The Angry Italian' is akin to a culinary roller coaster ride through the vibrant landscape of Italy itself. And rest assured, there's no 'mama mia' moments of disappointment here!

The title 'The Angry Italian' suggests fury, but the only thing furious here is the unrelenting passion and fiery dedication to exceptional Italian cuisine. It's an anger that's beautifully expressed in every dish they serve, making you feel both welcome and tantalized as if you've stumbled upon a family feud about whose grandma's recipe reigns supreme.

The ‘Godfather of All Pizzas’ is a must-try – the crust is a testament to the beauty of patience and yeast, while the toppings are fresher than a Venetian morning. It's a slice of the Italian countryside right on your plate. The Fettuccine Alfredo? More like 'Fettuccine AlFREDO I just stumble upon the secret of life itself?' - the harmonious symphony of cream, pasta, and cheese.

The wine list is a love letter to the Italian vineyards, curated with an affection that could only spring from a well-versed oenophile. You'll find yourself narrating a Fellini movie in your head as you sip the divine nectar, I guarantee it.

The pièce de résistance, however, is the 'Raging Tiramisu'. It's a gastronomic paradox of subtle yet bold flavors, enough to provoke a delightful uproar on your taste buds. It's a fitting finale to an epicurean opera that only 'The Angry Italian' can deliver.

Decorated with the charm of a rustic Italian villa, the ambiance of 'The Angry Italian' takes you on a virtual gondola ride through the canals of Venice with every bite you take. The staff, much like vigilant sentinels of Italian hospitality, add to the authentic experience.

In essence, 'The Angry Italian' is the personification of the age-old adage: "The secret ingredient is always love... and a little bit of well-placed wrath." Consider this a standing ovation from a delighted and deliciously stuffed patron. Molto bene!

Food was great! Flavor was great on the pizza and love the mozz sticks. My son loved the meatballs! It's just sad that they have to close this location. Rumor has it they are reopening somewhere else. Let's just pray they do. My 5yr old loves this pizza!

Katherine was our friendly and efficient server. We overheard her with other customers and she is also incredibly patient. This restaurant is classy, well decorated and clean. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. The wood tables, wood grain walls and amber color lights make the place feel sophisticated and welcoming but it isn’t so dark that you can’t see the menu because they also have a well-lit bar, regular track lighting plus nice oversized windows on one of the walls.

Stuffed mushrooms-so good. They were filled with a soft filling and topped with mozzarella cheese. The sauce under them is like a buttery lemon sauce. I may be completely wrong but that’s what it tasted like to me and I took some of the sauce home to put on pasta that I make. They didn’t have breadcrumbs on them like some restaurants do which was so nice not to be overloaded with a stuffing or burned cheese. The main entrees for us was the saccatino and a meatball parm sandwich. The saccatino was out of this world good. I had never had this type of pasta before. It’s filled with a slightly spicy Italian sausage and in a wonderful sauce that was creamy but not too rich. The parm sub came with French fries. The fries were not crinkle fries like in the picture on Yelp but they were still good and not overly greasy or salty.

The breadstick served with the saccatino is so soft and warm. Not overly buttered or salty like some restaurants.

We had enough food for leftovers. We ate for $38.00 and that included a large bowl of pasta, a large meatball sub and the mushroom appetizer. We will definitely be back!

This is a must go to restaurant. My wife had the meatballs and they were very good. I had the mushrooms and they were incredible. My wife had a pizza she loved and I had the best veal parm I've ever had. Tara was the sweetest and was fabulous. I'll be in Bristol again next year and this is the first place I'm going to. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Last thing: Tara's Manhattans are the best!

We ordered the Classic Chicago style pizza for pick up, took approx 50 mins since they were busy, it being a Friday night. It was fabulous! The crust was great, and the sauce ingredients were bright and fresh, cheese was perfect. Definitely delish!!

2 out of 3 loved the pizza... The third didn't like the sauce.
Service was great ordering for take out told if I ordered the deep dish it'd be 45 mins so ordered the regular... It took 50. Go figure, could've ordered what we wanted anyway.
Will probably go back because 2 out of 3 loved the pizza. The third didn't care for the sauce.

We try to go every Saturday. The thin crust pizza is our go-to and the sauce on the pizza is so fresh. It is really delicious! The staff (our favorite is Tara) are wonderful and we enjoy each visit. Entree salads are HUGE and the appetizers are pretty awesome too. They pay attention to providing fresh ingredients and it makes an impact! Highly recommend!

Great meatball sub. Fries tasted like frozen ones, so skip those.

We live in Charlotte and was in the area on vacation. One of my husband's friends suggested this restaurant and we absolutely loved it!
We had The Classic and it was by far the best pizza we have had in years. I would drive an hour to get this pizza. That is how good it is.

Food and service was outstanding. Highly recommend this place. First opportunity I had to bring my wife here and she was impressed. Wait staff very attentive. Visited by 2 management staff to ensure our visit was what we expected.
