Roadtrippers, this needs to be added to your list! One of the most beautiful old Gulf Stations you'll ever see, nestled on the Lincoln Highway in Bedford, PA. The architecture and tile work is beautiful and a relic of a forgotten era. One of the best 10 minutes you'll spend!!

A lost art! Who loves Art Deco? Dunkle's Gulf Station in Bedford is a prime example of the beauty in it! Still standing prominently in the town of Bedford, PA, you can stop by this historical roadside attraction just to take some awesome pics of the gorgeous tile work! Beautiful!

The station has been out of fuel. I will update when I see they have gas and are open.

The best looking gas station I've ever seen. I love Gulf livery, and Art Deco, I've live here if I could.

Susan the owner is exceptionally kind and helpful and friendly!! For only about 10 cents more she gives you full service, even cleaning your windows if you’d like!! Great Gulf Station!!

I met the Owner and talked to him a bit. Sounds like he has followed in his father's footsteps in the gas and service business. He was super freindly, volunteered to grab me the key to the restroom and told me a bit about the history of the building. I was going to buy a candybar or get a redbull in payment for using the restroom, but it's not like a truckstop...just gas and repairs. So I ended up having the guy pump my gas and clean my glass...just like in the old days. I loved it. The architecture and history of the place was awesome, the service was excellent and even though I live 2000 miles away, I hope to get back there sometime.

A beautiful historical landmark! We took some photos with our old classic car. I hope this place stays true and maintains its art deco architecture forever.

its private owned which i believe support locals as much as u can, the employees are always polite & friendly! u do not need to do anything here! they pump ur gas and while its pumping they wash ur windshield! they will check ur oil or help u with any automotive issues or needs! its also a garage for repairs or needed tune ups

Stopped here today for the first time on the recommendation of a friend. Have driven past many times, but didn't know it was full-serve. Not only did the wife of the owner pump my gas, but she cleaned my front and back windshields! This will be my go-to place for gas from now on. Beautiful station - original art deco - and old fashioned service. Hard to find these days!

Loved it, the lady that was working was very sweet, gave us some tips on where to find different things and told some of the history of the station.

One of the last full service stations around. Jack is second generation owner. Its an icon in Bedford. Very polite people too.
