I was surprised to learn that there are still independent Radio Shack stores open. It really is a step back in time and Jeff was very helpful. Surprisingly they sell guns and ammo. The store is joined with a pharmacy that has a soda fountain and serves freshly prepared food and ice cream. I love that this is near where we moved. If you see the Fool's Errand parked outside, I'm there.

This is a favourite spot in downtown as it caters to all your various needs: 1 stop shopping ~~ UPS. Notary Public. Case Knives. Guns & Ammo. Yes, all the electronics and also instruments, & their needs. Plus theres the Prater- Frazier Apothecary And Drug Store. You can get your medicine refilled and enjoy an ice cream cone, {also specialized desserts, candies , sodas & drinks . Also carrys alot of OTC. Whether you want an Ale 8, jelly belly jelly beans or Ruth Hunt Candies , please stop in and look around . The staff will be happy to help you and you may find a gift as you're done eating while you waited on the meds. 🙂 I simply love the family vibe of the staff . Thank you Mrs Frazier !

This Radio Shack is true to its name and actually stocks RADIO equipment for CB radios, police scanners, etc. It also has an assortment of computer and video equipment, cables, connectors, and even components for building your own DIY projects. On top of it all, the front counter doubles as a gun store where they have a respectable selection of firearms and ammunition available.

I've been all around the country and honestly, this is the best Radio Shack I've ever visited. Most of them are basically glorified cell phone outlets with clueless teenagers running the place that often fail to answer technical questions other than what cell phone plan you want, but this place actually has electronics and radio equipment for the discerning customer.
