Brooklyn Grill & Cafe

A great find in Bristol, which has very few decent restaurants to choose from. This place is a diamond in the rough! My first time here was also a first date and my lady couldn’t have chosen a better place! She had the filet and I had the ribeye and both were prepared perfectly! The service is also excellent. The only thing I would add would be white tablecloths and softer lighting, which would take the Brooklyn Grill to a true five star establishment in the heart of Bristol.

We had our first visit to the Brooklyn Grill & Cafe. My wife and I went for a Friday Evening date. We enjoyed the atmosphere. There were two large groups and only two waitresses who doubled as hostess as well. The food was good. My wife got Salmon and I had fried oysters. There were 15 nice sized oysters! My only negative was no tartar sauce so I used cocktail sauce. It was pricey. In my opinion if you’re charging a premium the service should be impeccable. Unfortunately, due to understaffing our waitress wasn’t able to provide that. We’ve been to other places in the area like this with good food, atmosphere and higher prices and great service. I’m not sure if there is any reason we’d go back.

The Porsche Club loves to eat at the Brooklyn Grill every single time! Excellent food and service every time! Great ambiance as well! The restaurant provides ample of parking, an incredible range of appetizers, entrees, and other menu items, and excellent culinary presentation. There, everyone is extremely friendly.

We both had a House salad with Ranch dressing. Ordered Shrimp Cocktail and Fried Mozzarella for appetizers. Entree we ordered the Steak Au Poivre and the Cranberry Chicken. Everything was delicious! The waitress Kari was so attentive to what you want or need. We never went without a refill. After traveling for 4hrs and looking for a good dinner this exceeded our expectations! Whenever we come back to Bristol we're eating here again!!!

Loved eating here. Great food excellent service and a quiet pleasing atmosphere. Everything you would expect of a fine dining establishment. This is not a chain but an honest to goodness privately owned restaurant that aims to please. My new favorite restaurant in Bristol, VA.

For anyone who enjoys all the elements and components of a good meal. Fresh ingredients prepared with care by folks who know and enjoy what they're doing. You could drop this place in any city in the world and it would wrest away it's own market segment right away.

What a surprise! And nothing like what we expected. My husband thoroughly loved the lamb special with the Dijon and garlic topping. He typically has mint jelly with lamb and said this was SO much better! I had the chicken with mozzarella and cranberry chutney. It was so delicious! Both of us had red skinned potatoes with the entree. Our server was attentive, thoughtful, and responded quickly to our needs. A great place to go and we WILL go back when in the area!

Love this place! First time visit tonight and I WILL be going back. Very friendly atmosphere! Outstanding food! I had the salmon with capers and sauce, twice baked potato, and a medley of squash, zucchini, and red peppers. Not to mention fresh baked rolls and shrimp cocktails! The owners, Carl and Laura are wonderful people. They make you feel like you are family! Try this restaurant out - you will enjoy it all!

Drove by this restaurant a lot and finally went there with the family. Didn't realize this was a restaurant with more of an upscale menu. WOW. Very good meals with a great server. The wife and I had the Chicken Marsala and the Cranberry chicken. Very delicious. We already made plans to come back and try more of the menu.

Had dinner tonight. The swordfish was amazing from the presentation to the flavoring was excellent. The staff outstanding. If I'm ever back in the area I will definitely eat there again. FYI the onion soup was awesome also!!

Some of the best food in our area for sure but be prepared...it's a bit pricey. With that being said what we had was delicious and the portions are extremely generous. Our server was very friendly and accommodating to our vegetarian diet and our two year old grandson. For a Saturday night business seemed incredibly slow. I hope they make it because we'll be back.

Went here for a special dinner with my family. Have been here several times and as always, the food and service was fabulous! The owners and staff are always very attentive and make us feel special. Our lump crab appetizer was sweet and delicious. My filet was so tender and done perfectly. The asparagus was delicious and the twice-baked potato was light and fluffy. The food is upscale but the atmosphere is comfy and friendly. The cost is well worth the experience!

We don't make it here often since we now live out of town but it is ALWAYS wonderful when we do. My wife and I love this place. The drinks are not watered down, the appetizers are great, the French onion soup is the best around, and every entree we've had is worth every penny.

We have a been a few times since moving to Bristol a few months ago. We love it! The steaks, the bone-in pork chop, the masala.....all delish! Its definitely worth the visit and to try.
