Being from Chicago , I definitely got the hometown bar feel going on. Mindy and other waitstaff including owner were welcoming. Fun place and entertainment was outstanding. They have beer on tap and bottles available, nice selection. Shrimp tacos and ham slammer sandwich are great choices. The home made coleslaw is amazing! (The beer is COLD and I love it) Outdoor seating available. I can't wait to go back for karaoke which they have available multiple times a week. Thanks for the great/fun experience Bayside!

Delightful eatery with a dog friendly patio and an amazing menu to drool over. I ordered the seared ahi wrap for lunch and it was both delicious and divine!l. It was actually so good that I could have eaten another one right after! Katie took our order and she was fabulous and friendly. Cute and cozy bar and tables inside if you want to dine indoors. A must try if you're in the area!

Venice FL. Area has a lot of great restaurants. I hopped on route 41 today to find a spot that I haven't tried yet. It didn't take me long. I came across Bayside Grille Restaurant in Nakomis. Not eye appealing from the road, but rarely does that detract me. I was not disappointed. I love restaurants with character, and this lives up to that. The lunch special of the day was taco Tuesday and meatball sub with one side. I went with the meatball sub with hand cut french fries 🍟. I was very happy with my choice. Lisa the bartender/waitress was fantastic. Outgoing, willing to chat when she could, and knowledgeable about what/when the restaurant has to offer. Karaoke, live music, jam sessions and the daily specials. I will be back for Wednesday Wings. I highly recommend for a good time. 7-20-22 I came back for their Wing special Wednesday. Eat in in groups of four @.89c each. I went 4 garlic teriyaki. 10 hot all cooked extra krispy. Both flavors lived up to their billing. No surprises. I especially enjoyed the garlic teriyaki, because it is a combo that I don't see often. The cook did a fine job. Katie was the Bartender/ Waitress today and did a fabulous job taking care of me.

I literally just ate one of the best burgers ive had since moving to Florida.This place has a quaint dive bar atmosphere and i mean that as a compliment. Its relaxed and homey. Theres outdoor seating and the food is FANTASTIC! I also got a tropical salad with blood orange vinaigrette to go and if i wasnt so stuffed ( burger was huge) I'd be tearing into my salad now. If you're in the area, seriously stop by!

Amazing meal here! We had great service. So friendly and attentive. The server was so on top of everything. The food was phenomenal. From the outside, this is not the type of place you would expect to find food at this caliber.....hand-crafted and fresh. The fried pickles were the best I've ever had. My burger was delicious and I was jealous of my husband's brisket sandwich as well 😅. My daughter got the chicken tenders and they were so good. I can't say enough about this place. We will definitely be back the time we are in town!

Wow great wings, prices very very reasonable. Next visit I'll try there burgers. Indoor & outdoor seating. Had the burger tonight it was awesome the fries are out of this world. They only serve beer & wine which is fine. Next visit I'll try something else. They are closed on Mondays.

I can't complain. The food was good and on time. We mainly ordered appetizers and left but it seemed like a good place if you wanted to chill and have drinks. Women are encouraged to bring a friend unless you are specifically looking for one.

Don't judge a book by its cover!! We stopped here because it came up on Google. At first glance it was unimpressive. Quiet. When we went in the waitress immediately had a friendly greeting...very rare. Small place but clean. Drinks came quickly as did the food. AWESOME burger!!!!!!! Great, friendly service. Excellent little locals secret. Thanks for a nice visit!

Great food great wait staff owner of very friendly and is willing to help you just a great place to go on a Saturday Sunday afternoon I can always count on the french fries being good in the Pepsi being cold

OMG the pork belly blt was amazing. Pork belly is difficult to get exactly right tender and caramelize outer edge. Absolutely perfect. Service is friendly and family non tourists atmosphere. My new favorite sandwich place can't wait to try the chicken wings!!!!

My husband and I stopped in one evening to eat and wanted to try out a new place while here for work - we met the owner "Kim" who was super friendly and we had many laughs. Food was great. Atmosphere was relaxing and fun.We hope to get there this next Tuesday for Taco Tuesday before leaving for next work assignment.

First time ordering, only got appetizers. We tried the Crab Stuffed Mushrooms, Jalapeno Popper Dip, and Garlic Parmesan Fries. Service was excellent, didn't have to wait long, and everything was delicious! Will definitely come back another day to try some other things.

This place is really good, I have to say. I would recommend it without reservation. We were looking for seafood here at the beach and I was a little surprised that there wasn't more of it on the menu... No matter! What is there is great. I had the grouper basket, grilled. It is SO easy to overcook fish, but the chef got it just right. Grilled does not mean "plain" here, it was seasoned very well. The dill tartar sauce was great, the cole slaw very tasty and not drowning in mayo. My wife enjoyed shrimp tacos and sweet potato fries with Bleu cheese on top. It was all great. No desserts here. Quibble: a grouper "basket" should have more than just fish and slaw; you may need to order another side. Again, highly recommended.

This has become my new favorite place for wings and beer! Every Wednesday they have 65 cent wings and let me just say...they are delicious! They are fried until they have that nice, crispy crunch when you bite into them. You can choose from several sauces and they even let you mix two sauces together or get half your wings with one sauce and the other half with a different sauce. They also have great appetizers like mozzarella sticks and fried pickles. They have the best prices around, not only for their food, but also for their beer!

One of my favorite places of all time. The wings are a 11 out of 10 and the corn nuggets were amazing and reminded me of home. Most importantly, the service was phenomenal. The owners were extremely inviting and were even from our town. That explains the Chicago sports decor! I will definitely be back ever time we visit the area which might be more frequently now because of bayside grill. I highly recommend!
