A great neighborhood pub with a homey feel. The best part of Old Venice Pub is it's bartenders. Super attentive. Plenty of TVs and they have every sports package known to mankind. They do not serve food, but they do allow you to bring your own or even to order Doordash etc.

My husband and I have been coming here for the past 7 years. It's got a view of shops and palm trees down Venice Avenue. You can even watch the sunset from their balcony. They don't serve food, which is fine because it is a pub 🙂 Join their text messaging, and you'll always get bogo drinks every Thursday. It's a great local place.

Zoey is AMAZING 10/10 highly recommend. We drive from Tampa to come see her and it’s always worth the hour+ drive. She’s fun, outgoing, hardworking and makes the atmosphere inviting. Love this place because of her ♥

As a local, I love coming here to hang with friends. There’s always a good mix of music playing and my favorite bartender is Zoey, who is always right on top of getting us our drinks and giving us top notch service. Her fun & funky personality is an added bonus that continues to bring us in on the REGULAR. I definitely recommend OVP if you’re a local or seasonal guest looking for a chill spot to hang, with good views, good service, and good tunes!

I’ve always been curious about this place. Finally had a chance to go up. There are stairs and an elevator. Seemed like a local crowd. Cool atmosphere, especially on the balcony while watching Venice pass by below.

If you want a beautiful view and friendly customers this is a great place to get an adult beverage. Beer and wine only, no food. We love to have a drink before heading out for a bit to eat.

Great place, great service! Sure will miss coming in Thursdays!

First time here… after Hurricane Ian needed a new place to hang out.. found it !!!! They have great service and free sub sandwich for NFL football game which was a plus. (Don’t think this is normal thing ) No mix drinks beer and wine only. Mainly locals everyone was very friendly and welcoming a definite spot next time we’re in town.

PBR at OVP in VIP (Venice Island Proper😉)= Great start to Thursday.

Shawn/Sean is an ACE bar keep 👌. Like how it's an oasis in a town that closes down early. 2am bar 🍸 was quite beneficial.

No food other than snacks. Service was friendly and nice and welcoming. Cigars outside 👍 Great atmosphere..

Great little local pub, very friendly, lots of locals, great grumpy old bartender ( this guy made the whole visit great!) very good selection of beers and ale.

I was only here briefly for a drink. It's a small place with nice atmosphere and a good vibe. There was only one bartender, but he seemed to do a great job checking in on everyone and was personable.

Stopped in for a quick sip. Great small bar, beer and wine only but a decent selection. Bartender was friendly, patrons friendly. May stop by again before leaving town.
