El Tropico Cuban Cuisine

The Vaca Frita and Casava were amazing!! And, the queso flan and cuban cortadito were incredible!!! Outstanding service!!! I wish I lived closer to Miami, I would eat there daily!!!

El Tropico was great! Went with my family of 4 and was welcomed with great service by our server Roberto and delicious food. The food came fast and fresh. I had the best garlic Cuban bread ever. Funny TV was awesome entertainment. Definitely recommend visiting

The service was wonderful, such friendly and smiley service employees. Wonderful live music and the food was good. We loved the arroz and black beans, tostones, grilled chicken etc.

This is my fav and regular place to come. Breakfast is the bestt option. I love my coffee morning’s with Fanny at the window.🙏🏼 she knows already how I like it. Great cuban coffee ❤

Lia's Cortadito is a coffee lover's dream, and Alberth’s friendly service makes dining experience amazing. Highly recommended for a great food and warm hospitality.

What a find! This is the best Cuban restaurant I’ve been to in South Florida. While the location is a little unassuming, located in a strip mall, the food and service are top notch.

The chicken empanada was fresh and oh so delicious. For my main course I had the churasco ribeye which was both cooked perfectly and also extremely well flavored. I paired the steak with the yellow rice and the cassava in garlic sauce. The sides almost took the spot light from the main. The cassava while very garlicky was not overpowering and the rice was seasoned well.

To compliment the excellent food, the service was superb. All members of the waitstaff checked in to make sure everything was to my satisfaction and made spot on menu recommendations.

I will be back.

We went early on a Friday and had sandwiches. Couldn't wait to go back on Saturday, made reservations for 8:00, reserved table by window, enjoyed the 5 piece band while we ate a great dinner.

The service and the food was wonderful. Christi was our waitress, she was very friendly and polite.
I had the TORTILLA ESPAÑOLA and it was delicious!!!!
Cubano Sandwich was also amazingly delicious!!! We will definitely come back

If you’re looking for traditional Cuban cuisine, El Tropical is your one-stop-shop. I arrived with a group around 9am and was able to get seated right away. Was served some Cuban cafe con leche and started browsing food options. Pictured are the pastelito with guava and cheese, huevos ranchero and the egg white omelette with a pineapple juice in water. Service is really fast and the food is super filling. All entrees come with the Cuban bread pressed with butter which paired great with the egg dishes. The juice was super fresh and didn’t taste store bought. Atmosphere was traditional with salsa music playing in the background as you ate. Can’t wait to try their lunch options for my next visit

Food and drinks are excellent here. The smell alone for the food is to die for. Roberto and Angel were excellent waiters. Highly recommend coming here for food drinks and atmosphere!

The service is quick and the people are warm and welcoming. My husband tried a Cubano sandwich and fell in love with the bread (Cuban toast) and flavors. Compared to another local Cuban joint, this is the favorite for us. From the tamed tartness of the pickles to the savory flavor of the ham and crisp yet softness of the bread, this Cubano was fantastic. I enjoyed their breakfast, my favorite part was the pecan waffle! The kitchen prepared it just right using plenty of small diced bits of pecan and mixing it with larger chunks. Just the right texture plus it was nice and crisp. The prices were a little higher than I prefer but for the area, we spent less in this place than any other restaurant. The orange juice was phenomenal by the way, fresh squeezed and worth every penny. Lastly, and the main reason we had to hit this place up twice during our 3 day stay, the cafe Cubano was perfectly brewed. There was a nice balance of coffee, cream, and sugar, with no bitterness. I’m not even a coffee drinker but I definitely enjoyed this cup ‘o Joe! The only downside is parking, good luck during peak hours which are most the time.

I very rarely write reviews, but I wanted to share our very positive experience at El Tropico. My wife and I went for lunch on a Friday, and came back with her sister's family on a Sunday, so these were not on live-music nights. I really appreciated the understated atmosphere, reasonable prices for really tasty food, and kind waitstaff. And good drinks.

The food was phenomenal. Authentic Cuban cuisine with no pretense. Recommend it to anyone who wants to experience great Cuban cuisine. Staff was great and very helpful in directing us to items on the menu. Try it for yourself!

Amazing food! Enjpyed having some good Cuban food! Mijotos are fantastic!!Service was great, and everyone was so friendly. Didn't feel like we were being rushed to leave when we were done! A definite must for your visit.

I was served by Marina and she was absolutely pleasant. Food was excellent, the best food I ever had by far.. it was out of this world. I definitely recommend it
