The chef is an absolute Sushi God, it is such a treat to watch each piece of fish sliced with all the love and care he puts into his craft. If you are looking for buffet style sushi get in your Kia and go. If you are looking for authentic sushi fit for a Samurai, you came to the right place. The owner-chef clearly takes much pride in what he does. My sushi tasted like it just came out of the sea. Also, has cool atmosphere for people watching.

You'd never guess this is as good as it is by walking by. Sushi bar only. Chefs are fantastic! I would say one of the freshest sushi restaurants I've ever been to. Even the Wasabi is homemade. Yellowtail taste like they pulled it from the water and cut it for my dinner. Absolutely stunning!

Makino has a sophisticated and unique menu with his chef's signature "Yasu" on each plate. The attention is excellent, David, the host, will explain each dish in detail.
I recommend it for any occasion, whether at lunch or dinner.

Amazing food! The appetizers, sashimi and rolls were amazing. Word of warning, it's legit an outside bar. It's worth it, so give it a chance. You need a reservation on weekends!

I love sushi and this is otherworldly. Definitely the best sushi I’ve ever had, even compared to the places I went to in Japan and Michelin starred NYC places. It’s pricey and there isn’t much of a vibe, just a counter outside a mall. Honestly it’s surprising just how good this place is. It’s all about the amazing food.

You can tell the chefs take great care in selecting the freshest fish and other ingredients, ensuring that each piece of sushi is truly an experience .

From classic tuna and salmon rolls to more unique creations like the “WAG-UNI TRUFFLE” and the “TRUFFLE SAKE-TORO” , each dish is expertly prepared and presented with care. The sushi rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned, providing the perfect base for the fresh fish and other ingredients.
