Dulce Tropical Restaurant & Café

First time trying this Venezuelan restaurant super close to work. I have been missing out because it was soooo good 😍 I got the llanera arepa and empanada pabellón. With the nata and the green sauce! The women who attended me was super nice and answered all my questions about a menu item. I cannot wait to try their breakfast 🇻🇪

I’ve been coming to this place very frequently for a while now. The empanadas are some of the best I’ve had in the area and the staff has always been super friendly and helpful. I haven’t eaten anything here that I didn’t like. I also think their prices are amazing. Great great restaurant overall.

I've eaten the Pabellon Criollo Lunch two times in one week and it's delicious, sorry for the half-eaten food photo but I forgot to snap it immediately. Pabellon Criollo is a Venezualan national dish and it's a tender, shredded and seasoned beef. The Lunch comes with white rice, beans and plantains. The plantains are beautifully caramelized too, I will never make them this good myself. Empanadas are the deep-fried type, I've ordered the cheese ones three times. We've also tried three different arepa sandwiches, all were great. My son got the beefsteak special that comes with a few red caramelized onions, with fries and rice. Thumbs up! He has a peanut and tree nut allergy and it has been suitable, which is great! For dessert (for my spouse and me, not my son) we ordered the bienmesabe cake (the square one in the photo) and the tres leches cakes. Overall excellent home-style cooking and friendly service. We've also had the perico breakfast that came with an arepa instead of toast. Excellent! I'm a complete convert to Venezualan food now! This is a lovely spot.

Excellent venezuelan food. Authentic Venezuelan flavor. We ordered empandas, tequeños, arepas and the rib soup. (sopa de costilla. So yummy food.

The food here is always a 10000/10. It’s always served fresh and ready. The portions compared to OTHER local Venezuelan locations also is amazing… good size empanadas, full arepas - YOU GET YOUR moneys worth. I’ve been here over 5xs in the past 7 months and sincerely never get tired of coming. Would absolutely recommend.

The best place to eat Venezuelan in town! We had my husband birthday party and we ordered some hors d’oeuvres and they were omg amazing! They are always so friendly and willing to serve you. You can tell they put a lot of love into their food!

Love the homie atmosphere. Super helpful even if you don’t know Spanish which I value. If you’re looking for real filling food this is always my go to. They also have sweets like delicious tiramisu. Definitely something for everyone in here.

We had a big group with different dietary needs and they accommodated so well. The hostess Natalia was amazing and so helpful with all our requests. The food came out hot and fresh and everything was so flavorful! Some of the best cachapas I've ever had. The fruit juices were not too sweet either.

I've visited this small local gem a few times now. The staff is always friendly and they make awesome recommendations. I usually try to order different things with each visit to explore their menu and options. Everything has always been fresh and delicious. My favorite item thus far is the arepa with carne asada! SO GOOD!

This is where I come almost every weekend, their Venezuelan’s empanadas are one of the best here in Miami!!!! It feels like home. 100% recommend!!!

This place is AWESOME!! As of today I had to update my review. One the food is typical Colombian or Venezuelan food it's delicious. However they get full 5stars becuz of their employees and they are pet friendly. It was pouring rain today and my dog and I were allowed to sit towards the back of the cafe inside. It meant a lot to me since my dog is an older dog. Each of their employees as they walked passed us kept checking on us and asking if my dog was ok and help clam him down with the thunder. The curseries they had was wonderful. I will keep coming here as often as possible. My dog and I love their food.
