Thom and Rory Team

Thom did what we didn’t think possible! He found us the PERFECT home! The first house Thom showed us my husband and I both loved it! We’ve searched for about 4 years and never agreed on everything about any home! Thom found us the ONE! I’m so thankful we found him! Thom and his team guided us throughout the whole process from searching to closing and beyond! We’re new to the neighborhood and Thom is always still happy to give us pointers and recommendations for great spots around town!

Thom truly was the jack of all trades with the selling of our house and buying of another house in the following ways:
* He was extremely compassionate and understanding of the anxiety & stress we were experiencing due to unexpectedly having to sell our house.
* He assisted us and our Re/Max listing agent, Dave Weinthal with recommendations on a listing price by taking the time and energy to complete and present an extremely detailed video presentations of comparables to our home. Thom & Dave worked seamlessly and wonderfully together to help us.
* Thom performed daily searches for houses within our specifications and was always available to show us houses to buy.
* He played an extremely integral role in our closings, which occurred one day apart from one another by communicating and coordinating with both title companies.
* Thom always treated us as if we were his only client. He even worked from home while suffering from COVID!
* Thom was always available for any questions and able to provide detailed answers.

Thom was absolutely great to work with. Not only did he recommend our new home to us at Riverland in Port St. Lucie , but he went through the entire process of closing on our house. Even after the closing, he has helped us tremendously in getting our home set up and giving us helpful ideas with everything from utilities to decorating. We are now using Thom with the temporary rental of our home. Thom has a great personality, is easy to work with and has a knack for knowing what his cutomers might like. I started working with Thom upon the recommendation of a trusted friend, and I am glad I did. Thom was incredibly patient and thorough with me as I navigated my first home purchase, financing, and multiple intermediary moves. He and his team were extremely responsive and flexible, they were sensitive to my budget, and they were there to answer any and all of my questions. Recently I was required to seek the services of a Florida realtor in the Jupiter area. A colleague of mine had previously contacted Thom Montrois (from the Thom and Rory Team, Re/Max Properties)) about a real estate matter and was very satisfied so I contacted Thom. Even before I officially signed an agreement with him Thom began helping me get the property ready for sale. Mind you, that I live in another state and was totally unable to do anything to get this property in shape to sale. Thom jumped into action. He had a network of contractors, cleaning professionals and repairmen that he contacted to work on the property. He was always there to speak to me or, if he was on another assignment, got back to me the same day. He never hurried me and was always polite, informative and the consummate professional. In order to help me along he took a before and after video of the property. He took care of so many details that I do not have the space to record. I was required to visit the property ( I am a trustee) and met the other half of the team (Rory) who was available to help with things as well. There were some issues (legal) that had to be cleared up and Thom was there to get it done. We closed on time at a selling price that was beyond anything that I thought the property would sell for. All in all, Thom and Rory took a rather difficult situation for me and made it a far better experience that I ever thought it would be.

I can say without hesitation or exaggeration that I would highly recommend Thom and Rory to any person who would ask me for a reference regarding the buying or selling of Florida real estate. There is one more thing that I should mention. These guys know the Florida market. They would provide me with periodic updates of what was going on regarding comparables in the area. They knew what things sold for, when they sold, who sold them how that property and selling price compared to the trust property. Overall, great people and a great team. Met Thom today at a closing (I was the Notary). First-time homebuyer, sweet young kid, and I could tell Thom made a positive impact on the young man! A genuine connection. We have dealt with our fair share of real estate agents over the last 20 years but there was no comparison to the expertise of Thom and Rory. NEVER was there any pressure placed on us. Initially, we interviewed 3 realtors and informed all that we were merely looking and would most likely purchase in 1-2 years. Two realtors asked us to contact them when we were more serious and closer to a buy date. Thom and Rory were the only ones that accepted our requirements. They never put us off and would show property within 24 hours of the request. We ended up purchasing a home in the neighborhood we sought and could not be happier. Both made the transition smooth and effortless and put out some "fires" during the negotiation process. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TEAM. They even helped us rent our of original residence with no hesitation.

Moving to a new state and knowing nothing about the area was a stressful and annoying situation to say the very least. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area, and provided us a level of comfort and assurance.
