South Jetty Beach

If you're visiting the Venice area, a trip to South Jetty Beach is an absolute must! This breathtaking location offers stunning views of the Gulf that are truly unparalleled. The beauty of the water, the sky, and the natural surroundings combine to create a serene and tranquil atmosphere that feels almost like another world.

I am told South Jetty Beach is known for frequent dolphin sightings. I did not see any on my visit, but my friend has seen the dolphins nearly every time she visits. Don't miss out on this exceptional experience when you're in the area!

It's definitely one of my favorite locations to sit and listen to a book and just enjoy the beautiful scenery. This spot is a great spot to park your vehicle and take a beautiful walk along the water. There is a nice parking lot, nice little restaurant, and plenty of benches and picnic tables along the beautiful water. Great spot to fish. It's definitely one of my favorite spots.

Awesome place to sit on a bench and get some sunshine while watching the pelicans and other animals in the water. You might be lucky and see some dolphins or manatees. You can get something to drink or eat like a hot dog or a burger on the spot.

Geat place to fish or sit by the water and watch the boats coming in and out of the inlet. Great views and not far from the beach.

Nice park to enjoy the ocean from. Nice to be able to sit and watch the boats and wildlife.
The snack stand is super convenient and availability of the bathrooms is great.

Great place to spend the day or stop for a moment of sightseeing many times you'll find dolphin, manatee, pelicans, along with a variety of seabird. Nice little Snack Shack with restrooms and parking is full on weekends.

Nice place to explore and look at wildlife. The water is beautiful and you can watch the boats come in right next to the pier. If the tide isn't too strong you might see manatees and dolphins swimming by. There's a lot of cool birds that don't mind you walking up to them to take close pictures.

Parking is free, come early! There are restrooms and a little place to grab a snack. Great place to spot dolphins & many different sea birds.

Lovely area to sit and relax or fish off the jetty. Restaurant available for lunch.

I love this place. Its so peaceful. You can sit on the rocks and enjoy the waves crashing into them or go down to the beach and swim for a bit. If you have a boat or jet ski they have access ramps to get into the water.

Beautiful sights, excellent parking, and close access to food all make South Jetty amazing. While the walk can get a little packed with tourists, it's an amazing place to go see the sunset or fish during off-season.

Beautiful place to watch a sunset walk along the rocks. Nice place to watch dolphones or manatees.Take a fishing pole with you catch some fish. You can get a snack at the snack shop. We come here often and it never gets old.

Wonderful place to watch the sun go down and dolphins jumping, and boats coming in and going out . Tips:
1) come at least an hour prior to sunset to get a parking spot during most times of the year.
2) bring a folding chair. There are a few benches.
3) there is a small food/drink stand there. Limited Alcohol too.
4) there are restrooms by the food stand.

Jetty is always good for a sunset or to watch the boats coming and going. 3/18/24, jetty Park is open with concessions and restrooms. Actual jetty/pier part is closed off, waiting for repairs following Ian.

Great spot for a different experience, shady or sunny, rocky or sandy, plus check out the nice fishing spots

Great place to watch the boats, dolphins, and do a little fishing. Lots of seating and some under the pine trees. Can get a drink and a hamburger at the little snack shack. Nice spot to spend a few hours or all day.

The Jetti is an awesome place to walk around. Watch boats. Grab a drink and a bite to eat at Jetti jacks. See manatees.

Can’t believe this is free. Within 30 minutes we saw manatee, dolphins, and a shark. Amazing steady breeze, insanely gorgeous views, and FREE! Don’t miss it!

I saw a seagull eat a fish that was just released🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
