Surf and turf was had- steak was juicy and hardly any fat- fried shrimp were humongous. French onion soup- was great! Sesame tuna was fresh and hit the spot! Service was excellent- Emma was our server and she was attentive! Eric - the owner made sure to check on our experience! Will definitely be back! Yummmm!

Twelve of us went for dinner and it was a great experience. One thing !
We changed our arrival time a couple of days early when it was discovered that they had a Early Bird menu. It was a very good deal!
We had one server, but she had a couple of helpers. They we're good, but she was awesome. I hope the restaurant realizes what a gem they had.👍

21 of us had a wonderful dining experience last night!
I had the best prime rib since moving to Florida 9 years ago! Everyone enjoyed their food.
Our server was amazing, able to accommodate 21 people with speed, accuracy and a smile! She had other helpers of course to deliver the food in a speedy manner.
The reduced prices on the happy hour menu was an added bonus.

My family and I stopped here while on vacation and it was one of my favorite restaurants in the Sarasota area! You could tell that everything was made from scratch. The beer bread was amazing! Our waitress, Joy, was excellent. She was prompt with her service. I will definitely return!

We were seated right away on a very busy night. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive even though she had at least 5 other tables that I noticed. Our table ordered the baked scallops special, the grilled haddock plate, and a fried fish sandwich plate. We were all happy with our meals. I had the haddock plate and left with enough for lunch the next day.

We loved this place! Very nice environment and great service. Great place to eat after a long day at the beach. We got the teriyaki chicken and steak.

First time going here with my family. Beautiful atmosphere, great service and great food. Everyone ate bread with the fiery cheese dip. For my appetizer I ate Tuna it was delicious. The best part about it was the sesame seeds. Then for dinner I ate blackened grouper with green beans and sweet potatoes. Grouper was very tender which I liked. Green beans made fresh and not from a can which I also like. Added brown sugar to a sweet potato in case it needs it, sweet potato was so delicious that it really didn’t need to have brown sugar on it. Finally, for dessert I ate Cheesecake drizzled with Carmel on top and at the bottom it was delicious and very filling. Hope to come again soon.

We've Enjoyed all different varieties of foods to choose from....from gyros to baby back ribs to chicken pot pie and seafood prepared anyway u want ..daily specials to choose from. ..ALWAYS consistently delicious....the atmosphere is friendly and warm like the owners...always welcoming and appreciative...

Really enjoyed our first trip here. A lot of dishes you can't get at other eateries in the area, and everything tasted great. Would be a nice setting and view had we not gone at night when it was dark. Affordable too!

I have eaten at the waterfront too about 40 times since moving to Sarasota. It is a great place to have diner.They have a great staff very reasonably priced. Eric and his family do a great job. The food is always delicious. I love eating there keep up the good work Eric. I like to read reviews because I own a sandwich shop in town.I love the way Eric responds he has great responses. There are people that enjoy giving bad reviews. I deal with the same problem. If you dont like a restaurant dont go back. People have no idea the commitment and extremely hard work that goes into running a restaurant. I will be eating there as long as it is in existence. God Bless this wonderful family.

I'm from upstate N.Y. When I visit family in Sarasota, this place is on my bucket list. Busy for sure, but not in a bad way. Top notch, friendly service. Great food, atmosphere, and awesome large bar. My kind of place.

What’s not to like about dining at Waterfrontoo! Attentive service by Matthew, nice selection of wine, crispy salad, yummy beer rolls, scrumptious coconut shrimp, delicious beef shish kabob, and a surprise slice of cheesecake to end an intimate birthday dinner. Waterfrontoo continues to uphold its excellent reputation!

My husband and I are on our 11yr anniversary. Last year we decided to try this restaurant for the first time for our 10 yr anniversary. We loved this place so much we decided to come back. Once again we were immediately greeted by owner Christine Lagopoulos and later met her husband Tom who was very personable and made us laugh cracking jokes. I ordered the filet and my husband went with the swordfish special. The food was delicious. Service was exceptional. We had an excellent waitress. I can't remember her name but she mentioned she dated the owner's son. She was very attentive and nice. The view is of rental boats in the channel. The music was perfect. Definitely will be back again. A+++++++

Recieved recommendation to get the prime rib here. The best prime rib I have had in years. Service was great. Sat at the bar and engaged in a conversation with a couple next to me. They were regulars, and knew just about everyone that came in. Good crowd, glad I got there early.

2nd visit: same great service. Had the ribs this time and enjoyed them.

This place is the greatest! Food is amazing and owner comes out and greets you. This place is a gem among gems. Linda was so kind and warm! 20/10
