one of the best "hidden" gems in all of Daytona. The sushi and appetizers are delicious, it is inexpensive, and you get the sense the owner and chef really care about their product and customers - I take every friend and family member that visit to this place first and foremost!

I’m a huge fan of Japanese food, and this Nabeyaki Udon was quite literally some of the best food I have ever eaten, definitively plan to come back whenever I am in the area!

This is the best place in town for Sushi! Always fresh and delicious. They have a dine in area with a very relaxing atmosphere. Great for date night!

It was a longer wait than expected but the food was absolutely delicious. The sushi was fresh with a twist on the speciality dishes.

THE best. End of story. And I will literally fight anyone who says otherwise. (lol) The only place that tastes authentic. Everything is amazing and reasonably priced. I personally can’t stand all the chain restaurant sushi around and I won’t even bother going anywhere else! I was so happy to find this little hidden gem and I hope they never leave!

Best sushi I've ever had in my life!! We sat at the bar and I believe sharing really is the best way to do it since the food doesn't come all at once, you have more time to enjoy it this way.
We got a little bit of everything and it was phenomenal!! Things to order: sashimi sampler platter (so good, it melts in your mouth), the rainbow roll, and the spicy California roll. We even ordered different mochi flavors for dessert and it was the best mochi I've ever had. I am highly satisfied and I recommend if you like sushi, you HAVE to try this place and I'm positive you will too.

Have only tried ronin sushi and was recommended by the Foodies Daytona Beach group on Facebook to check out Cafe Du Japon. It was a little tricky to find as the google maps was off but after finding it, was greeted by a friendly host and shown to my table. It was around 5pm so it had just opened and I was the only one dining. Ordered the sashimi and it was on point - order the fried tuna jalapeno dill and it was good. Would def return again with friends to enjoy some of the freshest sushi in Daytona beach.

This spot is hidden in plain sight !!! Went around the block Times before we found it but man it was worth it!!!! The fresh sushi was awesome the service was great Would definitely eat here again and again

This restaurant has no signs on the outside to say what it is. The front door is a regular door with a doorknob. It looks like the service entrance for the Italian place next door. It feels like eating at a speakeasy.

The inside is sparsely decorated and dimly lit, except for a motorized disco ball that spins above the center of the dining space.

That being said, their sushi is super cheap, super fresh, and incredibly flavorful. Their udon soup is great. They have about as big of a selection of kinds of sushi and different rolls as I have ever seen.

This is one of the coolest restaurant experiences that I have ever had.

I have been a chef in quite a few gourmet style kitchens. This is great sushi. Talk about a hidden gem. $60-$70 and my girlfriend and I are full and share a bottle of great Sake. The best soft shell I have ever had, and the sushi is absolutely to die for. Fried eel roll is my personal favorite, it is large. Anyone complaining about this place had a personal issue the day they came. The menu is authentic, not lacking descriptions.. You have to be a regular to appreciate this kind of place. The staff is kind and as attentive as they can be. This is the place to go have a quite 5 star like meal, in a very comfortable setting.

Great little place! Even when busy it was still quiet. Great food and the staff were super kind and attentive. Very fair prices and all our food was delicious! Very happy my husband and I found this place on our trip.

In town for a mini vacation we came here the first night for takeout and then ate here two more nights because it was so good! The prices were very affordable to load up and we tried a lot of different stuff, our favorites were the fried California rolls, the fried scallop rolls, the spring roll sushi roll, the screaming salmon and the golden ninja, but I bet everything on the menu is incredible, we ate at least half of it and it was so good!

This is the best sushi I have ever had. There were many unique rolls that I have never seen anywhere else. The service was good as well.

Really good. A bit of a hole in the wall….no sign outside. (4.5 is more like it but a 4 was unfair, so 5 it is 😊)

Ordered to go. Picked up inside shop at 8:30 to find a happy and friendly staff. Food is delicious and they accommodated gluten free diet also. Yummy. Located @ 306 Seabreeze Blvd.

I've lived in Japan for so many years, and I miss real sushi! This is it guys. Small, quaint, and just right! Sushi chef and servers are all Japanese. Try looking for an authentic Japanese restaurant and run by Japanese- very rare!! Food is great!!!
