I have enjoyed being a patron of this library. The staff is thoughtful. The facilities are clean. The parking and environment feel safe. I love their app!

This public library is very good. They don't have too many books on the shelves, but they have a system that allows you to order books, put a hold on them in the waiting list a nd pick them up when available. It is a free service for all Sarasota County residents and even non-residents with an ownership of a local real estate property. The service is great and very friendly to all of us.

It's our neighborhood library! We love it! The staff is always friendly and helpful, especially in the kids department!

Great library for study and reading sessions. The staff is very welcoming and helpful always. Great book collection as well! If your wanted book is not there, they will get it for you as soon as possible. I recommend this library for people of all ages who enjoy the wonders of reading.

Moved to Venice, Florida 18 months ago from Ohio. After getting our house 99% the way we want it, I decided it was time to get a Library card to start enjoying a good book or movie again! This is one of the best Libraries I have seen. Very clean and well organized with extremely friendly staff!!

Visited the library, just out of the blue, and was able to catch the play The Civil Rights - We Shall Overcome. The message was strong, very emotional and heartfelt. I believe the next show will be March 1st here at the library. Please attend! It is a must! Thank you again for the performance and a great message

I have used their Honor paperback lending library for years. I can stock up with a two month reading supply in minutes, with no return date. Some of their books have even been sent to England and brought back to the library. I only wish they had this feature at the North Port Public Library, which is two blocks away from my house! (Hint, hint)

This is a great library! They do a lot of work to incorporate the community and offer a wide array of programs to try to appeal to everyone. They have a good collection of books, and you can send more books there since it's part of the Sarasota county libraries. The library also offers a bookstore that sells discounted books at really low prices.

It's a very nice library. The parking lot has been expanded over the years, the building has also been redone. Nice atmosphere, helpful librarians. Also a bit of scenery on the side that enthusiasts tend to like to paint pictures of.

Just signed up here this past weekend, great place and well kept, my daughter picked out a book in the kids area right away. Easy to checkout with computers all over the place to make it quick.

Anyone who works here must be a saint to deal with the elderly visitors they're going to get all the time in Venice fl. My first experience when walking in was watching an old man complain that he couldn't see some information on a CD he had rented from them. The girl at the front counter was trying to be helpful within the means of what she could actually do, when it didn't appease him he took the piece of paper she had written information on for him and threw it back at her. That's what I call the Greatest Generation! Go be miserable somewhere else please, the library is a happy place

We love Storytime with Ms Diana on Mondays. Through this program, my grandchildren have discovered the love of books! Always fun and inspiring with a great craft to take home.

Love this library they were very helpful even helped me print out stuff that was not on my folder to copy showed me how to email to print since computer part was closed they were very patient with me as was there awhile getting plans for upcoming trip in place thanks for being awesome

A surprisingly great library. If you are in Venice bypass the Venice library and drive five minutes to this library. Super helpful and friendly people. They have a nice friends of the library book store with reasonable prices and great volunteers.

Love libraries in general, love this one specifically! The staff is very helpful and friendly. My only complaint re the books: my fav authors don't write fast enough😉

Bigger on the inside than you'd expect. Pleasant person at the front counter and plenty of resources; only drawback would be the homeless people that hang around in the area making it an unsafe parking lot. See something weird report it so local law enforcement can chase the vagrants out of the area.

The Jacaranda Public Library is a great asset for South Venice citizens. The library staff is knowledgeable and eager to help anyone who needs it and the resources available to the public are both plentiful and current.
