My experience with Farley funeral home was excellent. My husband’s cremation was reasonably priced,, and the staff was great. In particular, Eric Swope was wonderful. His demeanor was very calm and he was extremely accommodating to all my needs. I would highly recommend them.

My husband passed away in August and we had prepaid and arrange for his service. Glad we did that. The service we had was beautiful. The nicest one I have seen. Farley went above and beyond to make his service awesome and the comfort of all attendees. I have had so many compliments for his service. Highly recommend them. They made a difficult situation beautiful. Thank you Farley what you did for me, my family and friends.

Farley did a wonderful and kind job taking care of our mother's end of life arrangements. It was more than professional, it was like family. We are all thankful that Mom chose to purchase a package several years ago to lock in a great price for loving services.

My grandmother had a prearranged plan with Farley’s Funeral Home, as they handled my grandfather and uncles prior to her passing. The staff was super friendly, understanding, and their communication was top notch. Even when I returned home to NJ, Ashley kept in communication about serval matters we still had open. Ashley took care of all details in my father-in-law’s arrangements for the celebration of life at the funeral home; coordinating the Mass at the church and ensuring he received a beautiful ceremony at the Sarasota National Cemetery. Any request was filled and the empathy we received from the entire staff by phone or in person, was exceptional. In such an emotional time for families, you should be proud of the caring service you all provide. We shopped several funeral homes for a more modern setting, but we came back to Farley's because of how we were treated. We can not say enough to show our appreciation for all they have done.

This is my third experience using Farleys funeral services. They have years of excellent experience and professional and personal knowledge and care of your individual needs. At one of the most poignant and personal times in a family's life, Farleys makes the absolute best of a sensitive situation. I wish I could give Farley’s six stars! Erik was amazing. He was always available, extremely knowledgeable, calming persona, and made it look so easy, all that we asked. We couldn’t have done it without him! Erick 🙏🏻 stayed in touch multiple times a day, even on his days off and even after the services were over. He made sure that the urns were perfect and that family members that could not make it received dad‘s ashes, professionally and efficiently. Hands-down the best funeral home I have ever seen. From the moment they picked up my dad from our home on the morning he passed to giving him the sendoff that he deserved. Their operations are top notch, efficient, professional, and I can go on and on. I know that this is an industry where you would have to lose a loved one to deal with them, but when it comes down to it, if the day ever comes where you need them, they will be there and they are second to none. Erik treated myself my dad and the rest of our family as if they were his family. I can’t say enough about Farley’s or Eric! 🙏🙏🙏

My original visit they were kind courteous and compassionate and following in later meetings everything went through planned. The final meetings and such went through also as planned in a timely matter. Would definitely recommend their services if need be again.

During an extremely sad and difficult time the Farley Funeral staff guided our family through the necessary arrangements. They were competent, caring and compassionate providing us with all the time we needed, answered all our questions and provided recommendations based upon their experience. Their concern for us continues long after the services and now three months later they still reach out regularly with compassionate messages and useful information to help us in managing our grief. I cannot adequately express how grateful I am for all they did, and continue to do in helping us.

We received such wonderful and compassionate care and understanding from Eric and the rest of the staff at Farley when my father passed away recently. Selecting a funeral home when my husband was in hospice was stressful. I am a snow bird and had little to go on. I chose Farley to handle his cremation because I wanted a peaceful, pleasant, dignified and understated setting even though we would not be holding a service or having visiting hours following his death. (After considering other options, I realized I was not comfortable with the thought of using any of the places located on Sarasota’s busy, commercial roads. That was just my personal reaction. It might not matter to someone else in my position.) I also wanted to feel certain my husband’s remains would be handled with utmost care.
My needs and expectations were more than satisfied. I found everyone at Farley to be highly professional and personable, with special mention for Bill Bean. Looking back, I know I made the right choice. Yes, the price was higher than other quotes but some decisions are simply not about the money.
