My son, Milosz Gasior, a pianist, performed at the Venice Art Center with an award winning singer and violinist Maya Mazur (@soundsgood4you) during an event for philanthropists. The room has art on the walls, and a medium Baldwin piano (tuned) in the front left corner. The live music added so much beauty to the event. It was truly a special evening.
The staff was kind, professional, and helpful.
I highly recommend this place for a small event.

I enjoyed entrusting my son's artistic development to Mrs. Laura McElhinney during his participation in the Venice Art Center Summer camp. From the moment he joined her classes, it was evident that she possessed a genuine passion for art and a deep understanding of nurturing young artistic minds. Mrs. McElhinney's expertise in various art forms was awe-inspiring. In the Mix Media class, my son explored different creative techniques and discovered how to combine mediums for visually striking artworks. In the Mini Monet class, Mrs. McElhinney beautifully conveyed the essence of impressionism, inspiring her students to create their interpretations. She fostered a supportive and inclusive environment, providing individual attention and encouraging artistic growth. Her organizational skills and attention to detail ensured smooth classes, and her genuine interest in her students' well-being created a sense of community. I wholeheartedly recommend Mrs. McElhinney as an exceptional art teacher who profoundly impacted my son's artistic journey.

We attended the Family Day event and had a blast!!! They provided so many crafts for the kids and even had a mermaid photo op! The steel drum live music was wonderful, too.

My wife, my 13yr old son and I stopped by the Venice Art Center today. We really enjoyed the new "Color My World" art exhibit. Also, the people working there were very nice and helpful.

HERE'S A TIP: Every few months they have an opening on Friday early evening (5pm?) for a new art show complete with free hors d'oeuvres and drinks plus delightful piano music. Don't miss it !

The cafe there just puts this place in the lead for me. Such a sweet little art center with so much to offer for our community. It's one of those awesome places that simply makes Venice (moreover the Island) a great place to live!

Very nice gallery of local artists' works. Excellent art instructors. Beautiful hand made jewelry and art for sale. Restaurant on site, Art Caffe, has a terrific menu, yummy dishes.

Masks mandatory and temps taken at door. Plenty of hand sanitizer and social distancing room. Free admission but donations are appreciated. We saw six pieces of original Florida Highwaymen art.

Packed full of exciting art! You might meet one of the artists. They teach classes there. Fun place. I will definitely make a return trip.

We went to view The Student Spring Art Show. We loved it. There was so much talent. Highly recommend.

I love seeing the latest art. Their gift shop also has amazing finds from pottery to folk art and one of a kind jewelry made by local artists.

I enjoy visiting the Center and love the diversity of work always on display as well as the emphasis on education.

A great place to take art lessons. Stop and view the gallery and talk to the very friendly people who work there.

Love the teachers. Especially Ms Norma Albertha, she's truly wonderful!
