The Kitchen staff are absolutely excellent all the food is well seasoned hot and fresh. The portions are great for the money.The store manager is always friendly and willing to educate and translate Spanish to English for me. It's definitely the go to place for authentic Caribbean Latin food. NObody cooks better within a five mile radius.

This is a grate place a very good customer service and they have good products they good its also grate and they help you find what you looking for I highly recommend La Placita supermarket!!

They order a special spice that I can't find at other stores. That is good customer service.

I love this place. I live in Palm Coast, Fl and whenever I feel like home cooked food like mine and don't feel like cooking, I come here. Their food is so delicious, from the first taste you can not put you folk down. I always recommend here to all my family and friends that live in Florida or come to visit. Good customer service. If you're Caribbean or South American this is definitely the place to go. They supply items from these regions. So you'll be able to find ingredients to replicate grandma's recipes.

You go in you get out, there isn't any difficulty to cash.
They have clean facilities, and affordable prices. Would recommend!

Went here for lunch. Staff was friendly and greeted me as I entered the store. I ordered a chicken and rice lunch and was amazed! I have heard great things about his place for years but haven’t been able to stop in, I regret waiting so long, I will likely make it a regular stop for some delicious food

Great grocery, Spanish products store

Great prices and love the hot food. I come here regularly. The breakfast is super reasonable and grits made perfectly the roast chicken dinner is good portions with well made sides and the chicarones are off the chain! Grocery has alot of great items you can't get elseware and amazing prices on meat. LOVE this store and nice staff!!

Visited after someone recommend the hot food carry out there. $5.99 got a HUGE amount of baked chicken , black beans and yellow rice. Highly recommend. Blows Polo Tropical out of the water in portion quality and price. Can't believe it took me 7 years in Daytona to find this one

OMG, I thought I was back in NYC at the Hispanic/Caribbean market, I was in heaven. The meat prices are amazing and they carry every spice, bean and sauce known to man.

Not to mention they have cooked fresh food that's amazing, this is my new Market, its a wrap.

I have shopped here for many years. It had the best collard greens. I used to live in Daytona Beach and was a regular customer of this store, since than I have moved to Palm Coast and I still continue to shop here. The Holiday table wouldn't be complete without placita's greens and meats. The staff is very friendly.

For a majority latino customer base, they have something for everybody. I go almost everytime I'm in Daytona for work because when you go inside, everything's nice and organized and its not hard to find whatever you're looking for. Very clean and the workers always helpful and have positive attitudes. Nothing bad to say about them.

Good store... I have been going here for years... If it's a certain type of seasoning that you are looking for an u can't find it anywhere else you should try here I'm sure u won't b disappointed... O an they also cook hot food here... They give big portions an it's very good 😋...
