I went to the following office today. The security guard at the main entrance was quite helpful, and it turns out that they've moved the Food Stamp office to the following address:
1551 S. Nova Road.
Next to the T- Mobile store in the shopping plaza.

After many years of dealing with horrible people at Daytona DCF today Amanda was considerate, compassionate and took 3min to help and explain that I was sent the wrong paperwork. She gave me the correct papers and explained how to fill it out.

I am new to the state and pregnant. I’ll admit it is a hassle dealing with this process of getting benefits via telephone. Hard to get someone on the phone. You follow the prompt and it sends you back to the main menu and/or continuously getting transferred to the next person just to sit on the phone for hours. I have the automated message memorized!

I decided to make my way into the office due to urgently needed services. I was hesitant with all the bad reviews and word of mouth I hear about the staff here. I will say from the moment I walked in, I was politely greeted by each one of the ladies I dealt with. The process was quick and I was there maybe 30min. I appreciate the excellent customer service I experienced this morning. Thank you to the staff in office.

I know that I continue to read all of these terrible reviews about the DCF employees and their business as a whole. I honestly have nothing but POSITIVE things to say about them. They have always contacted me regarding any issues with my case. I think they have improved a lot over the last year also. People give it a rest, their jobs are not as easy as we make it out to be. They bust their behinds everyday to make some sort of a difference. In a world like the one we live in now, any help is better than no help!

Mrs. Washington is the most caring person I've ever met. They walked me through every step and process and did her best to help us out. Thank God there are people like that out here still. God bless that woman

My daughter has serious health issues. Everyone here was so helpful and friendly. I have worked in Healthcare for over 40 years and I give these employees and A+ Thank you for all you do.
