Fort Moore Commissary

Large and well stocked. And friendly people!

Very impressed with the wide variety of food including meat department and Boars Head food. Pricing are good, store is well lit, ample parking and all the shelves and glass doors were very clean. I say this as a civilian going with my soldier and his family. Very nice to know a super selection is there in fresh fruit and vegetables, the meat and the other departments as well.

I'm a retiree and today my wife and I shopped at the Fort Benning Commissary and I would like to leave this message: We were checked out by a wonderful lady, Tamico, and she was awesome, friendly, polite, patient and professional. I want to say that in the 25 years I have been shopping in this commissary I have never had a check out clerk like her and I want to let everyone know about this wonderful human being. Thank y'all for hiring her to serve our military family! 1SG(Ret) Ibanez. HOOAH!!

Great place to shop. It's clean and everything is marked with signs to easily find the items that you are looking for. They have more handicap carts than any place in Columbus Phenix City area. The staff throughout the commissary readily helps with proud attitudes. Most of the products are priced lower than any of the competition.

Well stocked w various merchandise. Most of the prices were below what would be purchased at off base store. Some items were higher. I assume supply and demand or limited quantity. Very easy to find off one of main roads. It has an ATM out front just off their parking lot

Great as always! You will need a military ID in order to personally make a purchase.

The meat prices are the best I have found between walmart and Aldi. Some of their stuff is not cheaper than walmart though.

Great prices at the commissary. I've had a bad experience at the deli and wouldn't go back. Considering it took them almost 20 minutes just to take our order and then let us know they were completely out of all vegetables, besides lettuce, then took them another 20 minutes to get us one sub. Other than that, I always find what I need.

Great place to shop! The store is clean. Very well stocked, plenty of fresh meats,fruits.
Anything you want is there with polite and professional team members to assist you.

This place was relatively bigger than other commissaries I've been too. Took me a while to get around. But I'd rather take an extra minute looking for the stuff I need that knowing they don't carry it. Plenty of variety having a city so close by. Staff was friendly and willing to help. Parking lot is quite big also always a plus.

Alot of remodeling was done recently. Great prices and convenience when we live on the installation for grocery. Can place orders for specific cuts of meat. It hit or miss on the baggers you get. Prefer the younger teenagers over the retired spouses. Good luck shopping here on or after the 1st and 15th of each month paydays.

It was a really nice experience. Very clean and everything very organized. It was a pleasant surprise I haven't been in the commissary for over five years. Living in Columbus and having other options didn't see the need to return to the commissary, but I'm glad I did it.

I cannot say enough about my first experience shopping in this commissary. Though there is a renovation happening, the inconvenience is not that great of a nuisance. The wide selection of items is great, and the prices are even better. The staff are super friendly and helpful as well!

Newly re-designed. Well-stocked. The restrooms are nice redone. The shelves are filled with goods. Worth the trip every time!

If you've earned the right to shop at our commissary by all means take advantageof it. There are prices there on a lot of items that can't be found anywhere else. There are also prices on some things which are a little higher, but for the most part I will choose the commissary. It's worth the trip and they are renovating and it's beginning to shape up nicely.

Hadn't been there in a while to shop for a lit of groceries, but I was very pleased with the prices and everything I needed and wanted was there, with no ling check out lines. I enjoyed my shopping.

Great selection, especially international foods which is what I always want most from the commissary! Very clean and well organized. Wide aisles make shopping easier too

Great prices. Had what I was looking for. Cashiers and baggers were polite and helpful. Only 3 registers open, was a little busy. Overall great experience

The Fort Benning Commissary is a great place to shop,it has great variety of items that is healthy for the family and cheaper than the outside market. The produced is fresh and the meats are of. Good quality. I travel from Atlanta to shop at the commissary. Keep up good service.

They stay busy so be prepared to shuffle down aisles. The stock and prices are good and checkout is quick even when the lines are long.
