I recomend Boriquen. You also find latin products at the grocery annexed to the restaurant.

I love to shop in this store for my hispanic items. Very friendly place and fresh items. They also have lunch here that can be purchased

Great food and it taste so delicious. Military proud place. Went right after my son turning green ceremony for lunch. La comida fue arroz con bacalao con Viana con bacalao. I recommend it.

Ate here for the first time recently. The food tasted really good. People were really cool too.

Great food. The rice and beans are amazing. They only open for lunch but I get there at 3pm without knowing their schedule and the owner serve me a nice plate of food. I will recommend to everyone that like Caribbean food to stop by there Monday thru Friday 11:30 to 2:30. Authentic real food.

Came across this place when I was homesick and really missing my moms cooking. What I found was amazing food and an even better staff. The owners treat all their customers like they are family which makes this place even more inviting. The food is always made fresh everyday and you’ll find something different everyday. Tuesday’s are my favorite as they have one of the best Sancochos I have ever had!

Wow where do I start??? For starters Don George and his wife are beyond hospitable, very courteous and attentive to serving their customers. The restaurant/ store is always clean. The food is delicious and they offer a variety of foods, there is plenty to pick from. I wish I was able to go there more often. I live and work in N. Columbus so time does not allow me to go there as frequent as I wish. My husband is military so he is closer, when he craves a good bowl of soup or Sancocho he heads over there because he knows he can satisfy his craving there. We love the food, the service and the environment Borinquen foods offers. I recommend this restaurant to all future customers visiting or living in our area. Please try it out.

This restaurant has to be one of the few places in Columbus to serve very quality food at a fair price. I read the reviews and some of them I don’t understand how you could have such a bad experience when every time I come it’s always the same for me and my friends. The service here is incredible feels more like home honestly. Compared to what I pay at other chain restaurants this food here is underpriced for the quality and the different kind of food offered here that you would have a hard time finding somewhere else. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Amazing food and great price

My favorite place to eat when I need food to feed my latin spirit. Every dish is delicious plus you can grab items from the store as well. The owner is friendly and welcomes guest with a happy heart. I live far but its worth the drive. 👍👌

I eat here as many times as I can when I’m in the area . Moved here from Miami and its the only place that makes me feel like I’m home .Jorge Gonzalez the owner always welcoming , warm and kind along with his wife.i would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a great home cooked meal .ive never had a bad experience in the 9 years I’ve lived here . By far my favorite restaurant in all Columbus .

I am from Puerto Rico and I also cook every Puerto Rican dish , but when I get lazy and need a break , this is my go to when I don’t feel like cooking !
The Owners.are a super friendly & nice married couple from Peru , they took over after the previous owners ( boricuas) retired , they kept everything the same even the cook down to the family who makes the pastels for them every year ! They are very giving & always willing to help - best customer service ! They make you feel so welcomed !

The restaurant is old and outdated but clean , looks like your typical restaurants you would find in nyc on the other side is a small grocery section to buy Caribbean specialty from Dominican coffee to Columbian candies or brands - They even sell favorite florecitas cookies , a boricua favorite ! My kids love them lol !
It is conveniently located near post to , so a quick drive for a home visiting or living here at benning !

Home away from home. I am from Puerto Rico and for awhile I could not find carribean products. Products to make homemade Sofrito, yuca, root veg. Coco rico soda, pasteles, empanada, guava pastries, coffee from my native hometown in PR Cafe Yaucono. etc. They also have a restaurant. Hispanic foods, but you have to be there early if goes quickly that is how good and popular it is. Highly recommed

The best Latino restaurant in Columbus, GA.
I’am a regular customer since 2013. Food is fresh and tasty. The owner, Jorgito, is customer oriented and vey respectful. I recommend this restaurant and do not miss the first Friday of each month and the delicious Peruvian ceviche.

Awesome place to eat! Authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. We arrived after hours and the owner made us a special meal anyways. Great service! Highly recommend!
