Flamingo Inn

This inn was perfect. Very clean and luxurious inside, with a beautiful view off the balcony, and access to the ocean! I walked on the beach at night, in the morning to watch the sunrise, and after I checked out. I met the owner as well—such a sweet and precious woman! I visited in 2018, but I told the owner I’d leave her a review, and have meant to do so. That’s obviously slipped my mind quite a few times since, but I see people are still enjoying the same great experience I did. 5/5 stars, I’d be glad to stop by again. Blessings in Jesus to you! :)

Teenage daughter and I were there for a two night stay for the Halifax Regatta. Hotel was a very convenient distance to rowing venue! Room was clean, spacious, updated. We also had a nice unexpected view of the beach/ocean! A small fridge was a nice added bonus, as well. Pool was very nice and very clean. Beach footsteps away. Front desk friendly. Had all the basics we needed and were looking for- fair price, free parking, free wi-fi, clean, quiet, and updated room. Can't really complain about anything...as others mention in their reviews, the hotel is small, so I could see where parking COULD become an issue if crowded (we didn't have any issues) and also the stairs could be a problem for some if they can't do stairs- but to be fair, they mention that on the website, so I would suggest if that was the case, you could ask for a bottom floor?
If back in the area, I definitely would come back to the Flamingo! Well done! Met ALL our expectations and more! We had a great stay!

I love this place and I love the staff Mason, Joe, Eli and Sam they are all such great caring people. Rooms always clean and up to date and whenever you need help you get it with no issues. Thank you Gentlemen for always being so kind

Typically only review when service is exceptional and the company has earned my review. I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the clean facility, how kind the staff was, and the location! My kids were so happy to have to only walk 50 ft and your feet are in Beach water! A special thank you to Hannah our cleaning lady who was so nice and professional! We were only there two nights and she checked on us a couple of times. You don't even get that kind of service in the big name brand hotels. Thx Hannah and Flamingo, well done! 🙂

Could not have Ask for a better place to stay. The room was immaculate and had a refrigerator, stove, dinette and chairs.The patio was great to sit and relax and when we walked out our door the beach was right there along with a beautiful pool.
Let me say that our housekeeper Hana went above board to make our stay a enjoyable one. She made sure we had clean towels etc and cleaned our room like it was her home. I hope Flamingo realizes what a gem she is. We will not hesitate to book in the future. This is certainly a hidden gem!!! The front office was very accommodating when we had to extend our stay.

Stayed Nov 10-14, 2021. Room was beautiful. Had fridge, stove, microwave, toaster. You could see the beach from the front door. The pool looked very nice although we didn't use it. Hana was our housekeeper and she was amazing. She kept up with room daily and made sure we had everything we needed. It is a small hotel, but worth it. Outside appearance can be deceiving, but don't be deceived. Staff is great, location is great , and we will be back. Didn't see an elevator so if you need accessible room, I would make sure to notate.

Thank you to the polite and kind staff for making my stay pleasurable. My house flooded from IAN so my dog and I were seeking refuge and found a comfortable and clean spot. Room 309 has perfect views from the room and patio. Appreciated the kitchen also.

Very clean and taken care of hotel, it was a smaller and older hotel but was not outdated. The view was very nice and pool area was great right on the beach... Definitely will stay here again, you can tell the owner takes pride in their business.

My stay here was perfect and right on time. Compared to the home 2 suites we were about to book. Right on the beach, 500+ square ft room with a ocean view in every room. Came to Daytona from Charlotte Nc for my birthday weekend to relax and I was very satisfied with the peace this room brought. The staff was great and Jill and Carma is kool as heck she took care of me and my family while we were there! We will return to room 302 every time I come back😎

Stayed here for three nights and had a great experience. Our room was very clean and there were all the appliances available to use. Microwave, stove, and refrigerator. The staff was really nice. The pool was clean and nestled between the building and the beach. Our outside patio area was nice and big as well.

Clean rooms, nicely updated. Loved the balcony and the fact that pretty much every room has a partial ocean view. Will return again!

My husband and I keep coming back to this hotel every time we want a little weekend getaway. The owner is super nice and, as stated before, the rooms are always clean. We love walking down the stairs to the beach in the morning for the sunrise and watching the waves come in! Close to a lot of great restaurants and the pier.

We loved our stay here! The photos in my review are my own and show how nicely furnished, clean and comfortable the rooms are. We had the room with a kitchenette which was super convenient for when we wanted to stay in and cook. Fully stocked with everything you need to cook a cozy meal in your room. The staff and owner were great hosts as well. We will definitely be back.

It was very nice. Clean, convenient to the beach and staff (John and housekeeper)were very friendly. I had been searching for a pet friendly hotel and this was listed. I paid in full on line but in calling hotel directly to verify pets were ok, was told there was a $35 pet fee. No problem. Then upon checking in, I was told there was a $20 cleaning fee! I don’t mind paying for these things but hate add ons when you’ve already paid in full. Pet fees and cleaning fees should be mentioned at the time of making a reservation.

5 Stars for what it is...a small cozy old fashioned motel that is clean, u pdated, not pretentious and has all you really need. Daytona Beach provides the rest.
The room was very good looking with floor to ceiling drapes. Everything clean and in good working order. Quite large fridge/freezer. Good shower. Nice patio area in back of unit.
Easy few steps to pool(nice), pool deck overlooking beach and the ocean is right behind the motel.
We were there for Jeep Beach Weekend. Amazing display of Jeeps. Price was much less than all other hotels/motels for this busy weekend.
Front desk people could not be nicer, friendlier, efficient.
BTW, beds and bedding were outstandng as well.
We couldn't think of anything not good about Flamingo Inn.

Excellent hotel with excellent location located at the beach. The service was very good, and our stay was so relaxing. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of great hospitality. Thank you again Flamingo Inn staff for going just that little step extra for your guests!!!

Excellent service with friendly smiles across the board!! Unbeatable when it comes to value and proximity to the beach. add to that a super clean room and a full sized fridge to make this hotel a definite go to in daytona beach

This was our first stay at this place. We had a kitchenette and king bed. We had a view of the ocean as well as facing south. Very clean with service every day. Staff friendly. Views excellent. Only drawback was no elevator and we were on the third floor. Would certainly recommend this place. Excellent value.

I would definitely suggest the kitchenette. A group of us were traveling together and everyone put the stove top to good use. The views are great and the price was fair. I like that the rooms dont have carpet. The staff was great and the cleaning lady Jana was fantastic. I would definitely suggest a stay here.

Our stay was amazing. The hotel is clean and in condition. The pool is a little small however it was always clean and warm. The beach access was perfect and super convenient. Overall after spending a week here I’m sad to leave! I will definitely be coming back to stay here every time I come to Daytona.

At first not impressed. But the king with a kitchenette, while not modern, was clean, comfy, and functional, without blowing up the bank. However, the range top had 4 eyes, of which only two worked. I didn't mind that because I wasn't here to cook elaborate meals anyway. A pot and a pan, utensils, cups, plates, and bowls were provided, but I used what I brought with me. Theirs were fine, I'm just like that. Hot water is really hot, cold is very cold. Laundry...I went to coin laundry down the street. Small hotel with a laid back atmosphere. Maid service top notch. Nice linens. Bed was so comfy! Felt like home, except I wasn't doing the housework, which made it a real vacation for me! Nice pool. Nice view of the ocean. No elevator, only 3 levels. People very sweet. Loved the beach! It's right on the beach! Front desk says they're going to renovate the kitchenettes. Good waterpressure in shower, too. Enjoyed our stay. It's about three miles down the road from the boardwalk, which was close enough for us. Beach wasn't too crowded, which suited us fine, because it was just as beautiful as at the boardwalk, but not as crowded or loud. Good family place.
