Cove Motel

The staff was awesome. I locked myself out 2 times in a row within 10 minutes of arrival, and the homie at the front desk was SO nice about it. Then, immediately after my TV broke, and he came back up and fixed it. Then, it stopped working all together, and they came up AGAIN to check it out. With no luck, they upgraded my room for free, and were able to commodate any other issues/ requests I had for the rest of my stay as well. Parking lot is a bit gnarly with some... interesting laid out spaces to say the least, but still better than some other parking at the hotels here. My only concern I saw was that the lamp by my bed (room 214) had a neutral leg from a phone charger stuck in one of the outlets. As an electrician I can say that's EXTREMELY dangerous and could be potentially fatal if that outlet is still live (which it appeared to be). Hopefully they replace that lamp with a safe one!

Four stars. It did get hurt by a hurricane so there's limited access to the beach. But there's a little ramp right there. I got a ground floor room but it was Oceanside. They had a full kitchen. And two double beds.. plus what a surprise it was to be near the Hard Rock Hotel where we got to see their fireworks display that night. Very cool spot.

We booked this hotel last minute we got the king size room with private balcony and ocean view..it’s amazing! The only problem we have is the air conditioning..it was really hot in our room when we went to tell receptionist she gave us a fan and she was very understanding and nice..it has a kitchen stove and plates utensils you could use and everything g Ned is really comfort and no bugs!! Pool is heated

Very happy with this place! I have driven right by this place many times not knowing it was a little hidden gem! Rooms were clean! toilet + shower were clean! (Which is hard to come by) waking up to the beautiful view of the ocean in the morning was an added bonus I didn't expect at the last minute. Staff is very welcoming and friendly! Especially Monica at the front desk! Great personality & awesome customer service. My family and I had just checked out of another hotel --(in which we had a HORRIBLE experience) she definitely put a smile on our faces. Would definitely stay here again! Pool area is also well maintained & they even have kid friendly pool toys which is a plus when you have kids :) glad I stayed here

The room was nice, motel is a little dated but doesn’t stop it from being a charm. Large room, comfy beds. Great customer service!!!

I read so many reviews about this place before we stayed there. So many were incorrect. They are super nice and our room was amazing! They are in the process of upgrading so much so I'm looking forward to staying again! Thank you!

Had an amazing time so far still have today. Will definitely be returning. Rates are very reasonable. Bed sleeps wonderful I had brand new sheets kitchenette with all cooking supplies. No spices but does have salt n pepper. Only complaint is the bathroom tub is like a bubble under it when you shower it moves to. Lol but other than that it's very quiet and enjoyable

Walter & his staff were fantastic! We had a great stay! Room was clean, ended up upgrading to a king and that room was great too! It was 206 and unlike the last reviewers plight, if you stamp your feet you wont need the broom, and the floors were not dirty., great view of the ocean, pool was perfect too. We will stay here again!!!!

We checked in here from a different hotel and was very surprised and pleased with our room. It was very clean and newly remodeled nicely. Have a nice pool and deck area and we have a stove, microwave, full size fridge with a walk in closet. Shower was roomy, and the couch was nice and comfortable AND although we didn't have ocean view we had a view of the ocean still. We loved it here and will return!! Staff were great!! My only recommendation is to put a fresh coat of paint on the outside to freshen it up.

This past week July 2nd to the 9th we stayed here and I must say everything was amazing! The only thing we really complained about was it didn't get as cold as we liked it to be in our room but that didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves! Staff was amazing they made us feel like we could live there every day! If you stay in room 406 hot water is cold and cold water is hot hehe!!!! We do wish they had parking for big trucks like they do small cars! Other than the small things we plan to make it back down in the near future and stay there again!!!!!!

Vacationed in Daytona and stayed at the Cove Motel Oceanfront. We had a King Oceanview Studio and it was very roomy, bed was very comfortable, AC worked well. Kitchen had everything we needed and the place was very clean. View of the Ocean and pool was gorgeous and we could watch the Sunrise every morning. The house keepers were great, attentive and very nice. John at the front desk was also attentive and a very nice young man. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be coming back next year and every year we visit Florida. We want to thank all of you for making our stay so pleasant.

This place is a little gem hiding in a cave. While it is VERY old, the team does very well keeping it clean and in working order. They use the digital keycard locks which is nice.

We had a two-bed room on the third floor with a beach view for a weekend. Opening the door each morning to a gorgeous sunrise, cool salty breeze, and warm rays was amazing.

The pool was small but nice, though in the daytime it was packed with children(it was better to use it at sunset.)

The back gate opens up directly to the beach and we all took several long walks.

The only mild inconvenience was the parking lot is a little small(definitely not enough spots for the number of rooms.) However there was a small strip of gravel to the side for overflow parking.

All in all I really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed in room 304. We always choose this hotel because the price is excellent for the accommodations and service. We usually get there early and the staff allow us to use the pool until the room is ready. Then the staff allows us to use the pool after checkout. This really helps my family of 5 out when trying to just enjoy a beach weekend. The only room for Improvement I can add from this visit is that the AC in the room felt like it never got below 75 degrees, even though I dropped the thermostat. I never complained to the front desk because my family was already asleep, but I would have liked it colder.

awesome clean room, staff excellent 110% will return. Our room was VERY clean, comfy bed, and kitchen is great plus save money and can enjoy pool and beach without leaving. Room view was beautiful 🌟 We were celebrating our Anniversary ( 21) gonna book this week again for May 2018 for our 24th

I stayed over this past weekend with my family and my sick mom (she was throwing up, but it was her birthday, and the room was paid for in advance so she said she wad going). Our room was clean, our bathroom was clean, we had a nice kitchenette, and the view was amazing. We will definitely book again.

My husband and I stayed for an overnight on August 27th. We had a corner room with ocean view. Our stay could not have been better . Room was spotless, staff was friendly and helpful. Pool area had a large separate space with chaise and umbrellas perfect for relaxing and enjoying the ocean view. We were told to call in the morning of our arrival and it the room had not been occupied the previous night, we could check in early. We were fortunate to have that advise and were able to get to our room at noon. An a plus on our list.

We stayed here the last week of May. Had 2 rooms on the bottom with Oceanview. Really enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff and convenient to all the attractions. I will definitely stay again.

What a BEAUTIFUL hotel right on the water, amazing staff and amazing management! The front desk agent Kyle was amazing and super friendly and the manager monica made us feel at home! I will definitely come back and stay here!

Fantastic hotel on the beach. The pool is nice. The rooms are super clean; not even a hint of that musty smell common to beach side hotels. The king bed was phenomenal. I'm buying this mattress when it's time for a new one.
