Mad Chef Kitchen & Bar

Top notch food, service, and atmosphere! The restaurant was busy on our Saturday evening (make a reservation if planning to dine at these peak times!) but tables are spaced far enough apart that it never felt too crowded or noisy. We tried the crab and artichoke dip for our appetizer. It was good but it could've used more crab in it to balance out the crab-to-cheese ratio. The mini pretzels served with it were a little difficult to use as a scoop for the dip. I would've preferred longer pretzel sticks to avoid my fingertips from touching the dip. The Santa Fe chicken sandwich was excellent. It was so tender and soft with just enough heat from the spice. My wife loved her braised beef and the picky kids liked the chicken tenders & fries. We finished off the meal with the seasonal cheesecake, which was cappuccino flavored. It wasn't a huge portion but was very tasty and came with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. Our waiter made the meal pleasant by anticipating our needs and providing very prompt service. Our table had a nice picture of the Notorious B.I.G. overlooking us and it was a really cool piece. I hope to come back soon and try more delicious things on the menu!

We selected Mad Chef based off their Facebook post of their daily specials, and everyone in our family was impressed. The Burrata App special was awesome. The Rack of Lamb Special…Awesome. The 50/50 burger, don’t understand why more restaurant don’t offer this burger. Short rib was delicious. The specialty drinks were very good. Zeke provided a well balanced level of service, and manager Jason was present and had his staff performing at a high level. We had a great dining experience and we will return. Thank you to the entire staff, and happy holidays!

Not busy, quick seating, good parking. Good house sangria! Food was delicious! Cauliflower was a hit!

Drinks and food were very good from appetizers to desserts. Did not feel rushed through our meal by staff. Reservations are suggested.

Totally random choice on a road trip through Maryland and turned out to be a fantastic spot for a quick brunch. Service was friendly and attentive, food was excellent. What a great experience. Highly recommend! Everything from the coffee to the main courses were delicious and spot on. Kudos to the staff and management you guys have a great thing going here!

What an amazing birthday dinner! My husband and I went here tonight and we were both very impressed with the quality and taste of the food as well as the phenomenal service. Our server Drew was so very kind and professional. He even helped us order since we are indecisive and he did not steer us wrong! The sweet potato gnocchi and the flourless chocolate cake were both a 10/10. Highly recommend!

First time trying this place and we loved it! The cocktails (Refashion pictured) were great and the food was delicious. It was crowded on the Saturday evening we were there, but we never felt rushed or squeezed in. We will be back!

Rustic and modern vibes with Mediterranean foods, Mad Chef has something for everyone. We came in around 3 pm and were seated immediately. Reservation might be a good idea for larger parties. We got some of the recommended waiter favorites and some other menu items that sounded promising. Each dish was quality and came quickly. Our waiter was attentive and knew the menu well.

This would be a great place for a bachelor/bachelorette party, birthday and date night. Looking forward to dining here again!

Had an amazing dinner. The French onion soup delicious 😋. Then, he had the sweet potato gnocchi for the first time. It's definitely different and delicious. The short Rib was amazing. For dessert, I had the special pumpkin cheesecake inside a pumpkin.

I have wanted to try Mad Chef Kitchen and Bar for a while, and I am so glad I finally got the chance! The waitstaff was wonderful and the food was great! I was surprised by the gyro tacos. They had so much flavor and the micro greens were a superb touch. The crab loaded tots were yummy and I really enjoyed the short ribs grilled cheese. It was a little greasy, but that's what napkins are for! The crab and artichoke dip was super tasty, but it left a desire for more crab in taste and appearance. The pretzels were perfect in combination with the dip, but as a bread lover, 3 were not enough.

Overall, it was a great experience and I would love to go back and try other options. I suggest you reserve a table because the wait gets long.

The restaurant is beautiful. I absolutely love the atmosphere. It gives speakeasy vibes. The bar area is big with plenty of tvs and high top tables for additional seating. There is a back dining area which is more intimate.

We went early Saturday evening without a reservation and were seated immediately.

I enjoyed my time here. The waiter was helpful with recommendations. We loved everything we ate and look forward to coming back.

The steak sandwich and empanadas are amazing. The dragonberry mojito is so good!

My entire dining experience was 5 stars. The waiter that I had was awesome, he thoroughly went over the menu with me and all the specials. The food which I had the lamb appetizer snd seafood paella was amazing and the presentation was amazing and for the price you definitely get your money's worth. The restaurant is not overly large, making a reservation is definitely encouraged. The restaurants appearance and atmosphere was very inviting. I highly recommend it and I'll definitely be back.

The food was delicious. The service is excellent. I love the dessert alcohol drink... The portions are random on the appetizer list because some of the apps like the empanadas are really small and bland with no taste. But then the appetizer for the mussels was huge and very tasty. Also, I love the shrimp tacos.

Wonderful empanadas and mussels.  Great beer and drink selection, we really enjoyed the sangria.  The shrimp tacos were amazing, probably some of the best ever for me.  The salmon was so fresh and delicious and the beet salad was very refreshing. Fresh and delightful but a little skimpy on salad contents, it was mostly beets. Excellent service, and I will definitely be back.

We found this place on a whim after having a bad experience at a festival and it was just what we needed to end the day on a high note.
We picked this place specifically for the outside seating and was not disappointed.
The waitress was super kind, the food was good and the drinks were great. It was not too busy so we weren't shouting at each other.
They had dietary options clearly on the menu which was a bonus.

Great food, great time, and even greater service! Brought my sister, who is vision impaired, out for lunch to catch up -- We do this often and it doesn't always go well. While I stepped outside to field a work call, our server Joe (Joey?) stepped in and was EXTREMELY understanding, compassionate and helpful! I have to give a HUGE shoutout to him, his kindness and positive energy made her day, and made mine as well as a result!

The staff here were so kind and attentive. The menu had a good variety of food that we all wanted to try, but could only try so much at once. I loved the beef sliders! The bacon jelly was so good, and complimented the burger so nicely! The shrimp and grits were the only thing that we didn’t like as much, I think the cheese was not to our preference.
Overall this was a great experience!

Honestly I practically licked my plate clean of the ribeye steak, garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus meal that I had. Absolutely wonderful service. Came during dinner rush time and they handled it beautifully and they were very accommodating to wait times and getting people served fast and with kindness. The drinks and bartenders absolutely great. Give everyone a raise because was definitely a great experience at Mad Chef, thank you (:

If I could give 6 stars I would. Wow!, this place was absolutely amazing. From the delicious meals to the excellent service from our waiter Ethan, my husband and I were really impressed and already talking about visiting again. My only regret is not coming here sooner. Everything was fresh and served perfectly. I can't say enough good things about Ethan. He was attentive, knowledgeable and not too overbearing. He really made of first visit so enjoyable. If you haven't been here yet, no sure what you're waiting for. Go....right now!!😊

Stopped in with family for an early dinner last month. First time, but one of my brothers has frequented before. Food was fantastic. There were 9 of us and we ordered the beef sliders, beets caprese, chicken caprese, shrimp tacos, blackened mahi sandwich and the key lime pie for dessert. That was just for 3 of us and everything was awesome! We will go back next time we are over that way. Emily M was an excellent waitress. Thank you to her and the Mad Chef team for providing such a nice meal on a tough day for us.
