Southeast Louisiana Veterans Home

It is a very clean facility. Both my mom and dad are there. The administrators are available to help navigate the labyrinth of paper work.

The people here are very nice and professional. It was a joy to speak with them.

Had a very enjoyable experience while I was there...my loved one seemed to be in great spirits and well taken care of...his only complaint is some of his things come up missing (not sure if its true or just him lol) but other than that he's happy...

Went there to visit a friend and found a great place for any veteran who wants to make this his home. The staff was great and very helpful. All the residents have ample space for their indoor activities and there is always something going on to keep you busy and occupied throughout the day. God bless all of those fine men and women who staff this great veterans home and all the veterans who reside there.

Both of my parents passed at this home. The medical attention was excellent. Extremely difficult working conditions but the staff never complains that I observed. My father was there for 2 1/2 years. I visited often. I organize a day each year to bring 30+ people to visit with the residents, as loneliness is their worst condition.

I went and visited a good friend of mine. The facility looked very clean, the staff was friendly, and he was taken care of.

As the Commander of Post #383 of the American Legion, I have had and continue to have a great deal of contact with the staff and residents of SELVH.

The staff (on all levels) is extremely dedicated and shows respect and concern for the veteran residents. The facility is clean and comfortable. There are scheduled activities (including field trips and a weekly scheduled trip to the store) for residents every day, a great library, chapel with regular services and other amenities.

Hopefully SELVH will still be around when my turn comes.

My father is being taken care of at this facility and I must say the people there are awesome wonderful people very caring very professional and does an awesome job of taking care of our loved ones God bless them all at this facility

The staff has done wonders for my father who has been a resident since 2012. They have loved and taken care of him as if he was family! Words can’t express how grateful i am!

I have a family member who lives there. He is well taken care of. There are lots of great entertainment and fun activities for all of the many Veterans who live there.

The people here are really nice and the residents look well cared for. The place even smells nice and is kept at a comfortable temperature.

Donated items after both my husband and later my father died. They really appreciated it. The staff is kind and helpful.

It was a nice vacillity. Rooms were small, you could hardly turn around as a visitor. The staff was very nice.

Wonderful friendly atmosphere for the resident Veterans & their visiting friends and family. The staff is great as well

My brother in law is here. His room is clean and spacious and the staff was so very nice.

Great place for veterans who need help with health and living conditions

Great men n women to visit with n staff is grate, service officers office very efficient and easy açcess also very helpful.

A place that truly values our veterans as they should be. This does not sound like enough but " THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO.
