Hixson Bros Inc Funeral Home

My Father, Mr. Gene Thompson, requested Hixson Brothers to be the funeral home to handle his remains. I was so pleased with how everything turned out. The day of the wake the families are invited for first viewing to make sure everything is ok. I was planning on having a closed casket due to Dad's long illness, but after seeing how wonderful Dad looked I decided otherwise. The director and hostess were so gracious and caring to our family's needs it made the wake a pleasant experience during such a difficult time.

Very thoughtful and gracious individuals who not only show they care for families who insure the losses of loved ones, but also the Hixson employees are blessings. They helped me through each painful step after losing my wife and I am greatful and thankful for them

Hixson funeral home in Jena was the funeral home used for my dad, I just want to say I am so disgusted and traumatized by the lack of care for my dads remains, now all I see is how my dad looked In that casket which should have been closed , the director did not even offer me condolences for my fathers passing, I could go on and on but I wont, I do not recommend using hixson brothers for your loved ones services.
