La Salle Water Works District

This police jury-owned waterworks & sewer system that is allowed to rob their customers without fear of any sanctions because they have a special privilege—the Louisiana Public Service Commission has no jurisdiction over them. So, LaSalle Waterworks & Sewer District #1 can legally force their customers to pay a consumption rate for EACH AND EVERY single gallon of water that comes into their home or business and, again, as that same gallon leaves their home or business—AT ALMOST THE SAME RATE PER GALLON!! That’s like Burger King making you pay for a hamburger when you eat it and, then, charging you AGAIN when your body naturally disposes of it!! I’m done. They are robbing people and the people can do NOTHING about it!!
