Small-town diner that probably hasn't changed in 40 or 50 years. Definitely all locals eating there. They even still have the spinning stools at the counter.
I had the specialty, which is the Kirbyburger - two patties with grilled onions. Both Burger and Fries were great. The onion rings were very good also.
Love the crunchy ice for the soda, because I can chew it without breaking my teeth.
Gave five stars for atmosphere because even though it was old and basic, it has a wonderful home town feel.
It's in the historic downtown, and if you drive north you are immediately in the historic homes District with lots of big beautiful old homes with lots of character.
We drove around for probably 15 minutes after we ate, enjoying all the beautiful homes and Landscaping.

Our experience at curvies was amazing. Staff was very friendly and polite, just a comfortable atmosphere. The food was good. I had to double cheeseburger "Kirby Burger".

The patty itself is fine, the bun and cheese are good but its the crispy burntish onions on the Kirby burger that seal the deal. Good stuff. Onion rings with the burger were very good.

I travel for work and try to eat at local establishments as much as I can. This was a nice little surprise as you walk through the door you were greeted with a nostalgic old school diner. I was told I could sit wherever I want within minute or two someone had taken my drink order and explained to me what they had. I chose the Kirby burger with cheese, grilled onions and french fries and a brewed iced tea. My meal came out hot and correct. It was absolutely delicious.

I read one person’s review that said that three of their burgers came without patties and it was very expensive, I’m going to say that that had to be false as the service that I had was excellent and as far as price goes if you pay under $20 for a homemade double burger with fries and a drink that is awesome . As much as I travel I’m sure I will be back in this location. Just remember it is closed on Mondays as I’ve already tried that.

Great little restaurant for breakfast. it’s your basic country food at a good price, served with a smile.

This is another diamond in the rough. I knew when we walked in that the food would be good just by the smell. It has a limited menu, but don't let that turn you away because what they do make, they specialize in. If you want good fast but not fast food, give them a try!

Great services and the food was amazing. Better than any fast food burgers. Make me wish I lived in the area and ate here more frequently.

Awesome burgers and fries! My mother ate at this place when she was a kid, still going strong.

Best cheeseburger, onion rings and sweet tea!!!! Two ladies working very nice. Place clean.It will be one of my favorite places to eat when I'm in town. A must try if you have never eaten there. If I could give 1000 stars, I would!

I had the double kirby burger without onions and fries. The fries were good but you have to salt them yourself. The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection, the service was good she came and checked on us every so often and made sure we were taken care of. All around a good experience, would definitely recommend to family and friends

Great diner. Love it there friendly staff and just all the people that come in are friendly. It's what I call a happy place.

They have the best burgers. If your close stop and grab a couple you won't regret it.
