Walmart Supercenter

I love to hit Walmart clearance up all the time. I love Walmart period but there clearance is the spot for sure when you have so many to buy for. I buy all year round for all the holidays, birthday's and any other occasions so when I can get a good deal I jump on it.

Had sporting goods items most other Wal Marts have ended. Before deer season is over! I really liked their selections! Good job!

Edit: Within a couple of hours of posting this review, I got a call from Walmart and they apologized and said they would look into my experience. I've been back since then, and no more incidents like this have happened. Thank you, Walmart!

I have shopped at this Walmart for several years and always had good experiences. But yesterday around 12:30 p.m., I had a bad experience with one of the ladies who check your receipts. This was the lady by the entrance/exit to the grocery store side of Walmart. I went through the self-checkout, like I always do. I had my receipt in my hand for the lady to check as I walked out. She went over it and then asked me what about the cat food in my buggy. I said I knew I scanned it. She handed the receipt back to me with a scowl on her face and said she did not see it, as if she were ready to call the police. People were staring at me as if I were a criminal. I took the receipt back and found the cat food on it and showed it to her. No apologies from her at all. I felt so embarrassed that she had caused this scene. She should have looked harder rather than implicating me so quickly.

We had a tire blow out on the highway on the way to our beach vacation, the Walmart Supercenter in Lucedale, MS was the closest to us. I called and the Auto Center from the side of the road and they confirmed they had our tire size in stock, and they would let the service team know we were on our way.

Pug was great to welcome us at the Auto Center and get us set us for our new tire service quickly. While we waited I took advantage of the Mother's Room where I could feed my three month old in private and let my three year old play quietly. This was such a HUGE blessing in such a stressful situation. By the time we fed the baby, and picked up our last minute grocery's from Walmart for our vacation, and let our three year old pick out a toy - our car was ready!

There's not many places where almost every person working in a busy place that can still be nice, an smile and ask can they help you and mean it.. only dept I get let down is in the phone or electronics dept. Just seem like they are to busy or really like duh!! You want a what .?? It is a stressful department.. other than than , what would we do without Walmart.

Small town Walmart and probably one of the best for a 100 miles. Staff are super nice and always helpful, but again, that is the difference in being located in a small town compared to large cities.

We absolutely love the lucedale Walmart. The only one I shop at is lucedale and Petal. The employees are so sweet and always right there to help wuth a friendly smile. I live 60 miles from lucedale and anout 40 from Petal.

I have to commend a very sweet cashier named Johanna for her excellent customer service skills. I had about $400 worth of groceries and my card wouldn’t work. I tried several times but the pin pad was acting up. Johanna could see that I was becoming embarrassed and overwhelmed. She calmly helped me with the problem and was able to help me get it to work. Not only did she show great customer service and car she also was very professional and kind. We need more people like Johanna in this world! Thank you sweet girl for helping me to have a pleasant experience despite the obstacles that tried to hinder it.

Not too far away, and had some new stuff that I've never seen before . I spent $10 less than what I would have at home

Although you never seem to find an open register. But everyone of the girls and guys this night were extremely helpful and took great care of us.. we were just a little difficult but she did it with a smile and never once did she get aggravated during our checkout. Should have gotten her name. Next time I will though! Thanks

They had everything I needed and then some . I buy my otc meds and food all off one card . I hope it stays that easy 🙂

Was good found everything I needed and some things I didn't lol.

Store was clean and staff was friendly. The produce, meat and seafood looked healthy. Most items were stocked well and available.
The continued push to getChristmas stuff out Earlier and Earlier has limited the availability of seasonal items. I had limited options for camping and fishing gear and Lawn and Garden items have been removed. So now I must choose to shop online for this stuff, have it shipped in or go to another store to get what I need.
I appreciate that they have an endless stock of Christmas items and a full display of every one of them but I feel like they have gone a bit over the top. Then to see the everyday items that I wanted to buy aren't there. I feel Walmart can do better. Limited stock in fishing was acceptable and I was able to find enough to get by and they even had the gift type items that you only see during the holidays. The lack of items in Lawn and Garden was disappointing. Hopefully I can post a few pictures so you can get an idea of what they have.

We use the pick up and they are awesome, always nice, thoughtful and even bring your bread to you so it won’t get crushed.. They are way better than going in the store and getting ignored when you need help or just being rude, Not all of em inside, Just the ones that act like they hate their Job and Life in general.. Use the pick up, can’t get any easier, just order and pay for what you need on the Walmart app,select your pick up time and let em know when your there.. that easy.. and they load you up and thank you with a smile . A+ in my book.. Thank you all 😇

The produce and bakery area was neat, clean, and well stocked. I also like that the self checkout kiosks had much larger bagging areas than the ones I've seen in other stores so it is easier to scan and bag your purchases without having to juggle things back and forth into the cart while the machine beeps at you that there are unexpected items in the bagging area.
