Tammy and her staff was very nice and friendly. They handle my case and I had no problems. She isn’t a man hater, she believe in getting the job done and I didn’t have to wait to get a response. My experiences from other lawyers was a waste of time but with Tammy and her staff I didn’t have to wait a year or longer just for a divorce. Six months or less I’m divorced and very very happy and pleased with their services and I would strongly recommend Tammy and I would use her again

A good person

I entrusted Tammy C. Smith with the task of handling three estates and drafting a last will and testament for my uncle on October 9th, 2023. Initially, I was optimistic about the quality of service I would receive, given her previous track record drafting a Power of Attorney and being recommended by another business associate. However, my experience with her practice has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated.

From the beginning, communication was lacking. Despite paying for the services upfront, I received vague updates when I reached out, with reassurances that Tammy was "working on it" or "looking at it." As time passed, my concerns grew, especially since I live 650 miles away from her office. In November, I started touching base, only to be met with the same lack of unclear updates.

By December, my patience was wearing thin. Emails went unanswered, and phone calls yielded no meaningful progress reports. I got through the holidays, hoping for some resolution in the new year. However, as January came and went without any tangible progress, I became increasingly alarmed.

My frustration reached a boiling point in February when I decided to investigate further. To my dismay, I discovered a pattern of similar complaints from other customers, echoing my own experience of poor communication and lack of follow-through. On February 16th, I reached out to Tammy C. Smith's office, expressing my deep dissatisfaction with the handling of my case.

Tammy herself got on the phone that day, providing me with a laundry list of personal excuses. She promised to have everything done by the following week, but subsequent updates were minimal, and progress was lacking. When I requested my documents back on March 14th, Tammy's response was dismissive, and she seemed more concerned about who would be signing for them than addressing my concerns. The only thing she was able to produce was my uncle's will, While he did sign it he noticed she did not even get his address correct until he was putting it in the safe.

In summary, my experience with Tammy C. Smith's legal practice has been overwhelmingly negative. Despite her previous commitment and recommendations, the lack of communication and failure to deliver on promised services or reimbursement have left me feeling let down and dissatisfied. I would caution anyone considering her services to thoroughly research and consider other options before proceeding.

Huge waste of time and money. If you need someone to represent you that will keep in contact and keep things moving; you should go somewhere else.

She is a tough lawyer. Known as a man hater. She usually wins her cases.
