Cute little diner! Lovely wait staff!

Limited food menu. No coffee past 10:30, but the sweet tea was a good alternative! Yum!

Go for the burger, coleslaw, and onion rings! Or a chili cheese dog! I'll bet breakfast is right up there alley! 100% on their sanitation grade; can't beat that!

Next time I come back I hope I have the same lovely, helpful waitresses and maybe add fried okra to the menu!!

Incredible food and personal service. Rather support small local businesses, the breakfast sausage is to die for. The best I have ever had. Our server was amazing, service was excellent and food was cooked perfectly. This is a hidden gem in Nashville NC, go here for the real deal.

Stopped by For Lunch and was Welcomed with a Smile..... I had a Double Cheese Burger and Chili Fries with a Sweet Tea.... Delicious Traditional style Burger great texture and taste.... The Chili was delicious and the Sweet was perfectly sweet....had 3 helpings ... My Colleague broke a record and devoured a Triple CB and added a Single for good measure... He is now a Legend.... Can't wait to eat here again...perfect Lunch Spot ..I imagine the breakfast is wonderful too

I always call and take out. Service is fast, and everyone has been friendly.
They are super busy, so I suggest you call first if you want to take out.

Our family loves to stop by the Church Street Grill for breakfast or lunch. The food is very affordable and always tastes good. It has that great little diner feel and southern hospitality.

Got the cheeseburger basket. Was really good. Old fashion burger. Not pre pressed. Everyone was friendly.

They offer really great food. The prices have gone up. But whose hasn't. The staff I deal with are very friendly and welcoming.

We pass by Nashville 2 or 3 times per year when traveling between the Baltimore area and coastal North Carolina (it’s just a few minute detour off I-95 and has a couple of gas stations). For a few years now, we’ve been stopping at the Nashville Exchange for lunch (also excellent). Yesterday -no dice. They were closed for vacation, so we walked around the block and found the little gem that is the Church Street Grill.

The Church Street Grill is obviously local. It feels like a small old fashioned diner inside. Yesterday, a Saturday at 12:00, every table but one booth was was filled with folks who obviously seemed local. They were there for good reason! The menu is classic diner fair, the taste is excellent, and the prices are once upon a time low. We all had cheeseburgers and fries. The quality was way, way beyond the usual. They were thick and juicy, and cooked perfectly. The style was similar to 5 guys, but with slightly thicker patties. The Church Street Grill is definitely something to keep in mind when in Nashville and looking for food that is good but unfussy.

I had a great experience here. They were very thoughtful and conscientious. I can only eat GF, and I was concerned because they were unfamiliar with gluten. However, they made me feel at ease by being proactive. Ultimately, I had the low carb plate, which was delicious. They really followed through. I enjoyed the meal and haven't had a reaction. Very good!

Church Street Grill is a sweet place to eat. My husband and I plan our week's activities around eating here.

If you like to go on the back streets to find out a popular place for the locals then this place is a must place to visit and eat. Their chili recipe has been around for 60+ years coming from its roots what was Joyner’s Drive In. Small, quaint, good service, a fun experience each visit.

Hometown RED hotdogs and southern sweet tea! Sweet group of ladies and Shug, it was good!😉

I can only speak for the breakfast here, I have never been for lunch.

This is one of the best little breakfast joints in the area. If you like a good, cheap southern breakfast then you'll love this place!

It definitely is a local spot but the price and taste of all the food is off the charts. The grits are among the best as is the country ham.
