What a fun place! The menu is eclectic and they even have special theme nights. The night I visited it was German night. I got one jalapeno cheddar brat and one Italian brat. Of the two I loved, loved, loved the jalapeno cheddar. It had such a wonderful flavor. I regretted not making both of mine jalapeno cheddar but if I ever get it again I will make both of them jalapeno cheddar. The sides were scrumptious as well.

If you enjoy German food you’d really like Wayne’s authentic cuisine. Dessert was yummy too! Give this place a try next time you're wanting to try a new place.

First time to eat at Clara Bell's and we didn't know what to expect but now can't wait to go back. Food was great and Clara Belle and Wayne were so friendly!

A small town country atmosphere, the food taste homemade, a very pleasant dining experience.
On the third Friday the taste of Germany with pork, a mushroom gravy sauce over Spaetzle. Was an awesome taste experience.

What a wonderful little restaurant! The owners are super friendly, welcoming, and informative. It is worth coming just for the music on Friday evenings but the food is equally great. Yesterday was the German specialty night and we had the smoked sausage along with the homemade red cabbage and sauerkraut which were all superb. A bargain also for such quality. They don't get much publicity and are a little off the typical travel routes but I recommend a short drive for excellent food and music.

I went here with my best friend, and the food was great. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and we were seated quickly. We met the husband and wife owners, and both were so nice. I can't say enough about this place. My friend and I both got the stuffed baked potato stuffed with pulled pork. It was fabulous. As soon as I get back to Mcloud, I will most definitely be going back.

From the second I walked in the door I felt like family! The owner came and immediately spoke to me making me feel right at home and ensuring that if I had any questions that not only would they be answered but with a smile. Honestly she was the highlight of my day!

The food was absolutely spectacular and some of the freshest food I've had in a long time.
You can tell a lot of time and effort is put into making sure you don't just get fed but you also enjoy your meal! Can't wait to come back!!

I was told about this little hole in the wall from my sister... so we drove out to try it... it was absolutely excellent. Quaint, friendly, excellent food! We got the Friday night special which was the Taste of the south as they call it... It was chicken and dumplings that were absolutely worth the 40 minute drive every month!!! OMG!! They were so good... and the service was so personal... we will be going back! They have a new "theme" meal every Friday... with live music!! Very unique..lovely experience.

I have never been to McLoud before but was passing by and saw this restaurant on the map. My wife and I decided to stop and I am extremely glad we did. This was one of the greatest restaurants I have eaten at in a long time. They serve German, Italian, Mexican, and American food. I got the Bratwurst plate and my wife got the Chicken sandwich. Both of them were amazing. The staff were extremely friendly and the owner even came out and greeted each guest after they came in. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice. This place is definitely worth the drive if you do not live nearby. My wife and I cannot wait to go back.

We went this past Friday night for dinner. Friday nights are cultural themed; this one was Italian. The food is delicious, the portions are plenty adequate. The chicken in the dish was so tender I ate all of it almost not leaving room for desert- which is included! I had a lemon square that was so delightful and rich. Every single bite is a little piece of heaven. These folks have found their calling and that is making others happy with food. I will be back for German, Mexican, and southern Friday dinners as well. The owner claims she makes the best greens, and I believe her because I ate the best zucchini I have EVER eaten just last night at her restaurant. Classic, real deal, small town home cookin’. The atmosphere is unconventional in a very good way. It’s like old deli (order style) meets dive bar (live music) and southern kitchen with expert cooks going wild- all with friendly face owners engaging customers making sure all is well with your meal. I only wish I’d visited sooner. We are fans.

This was our first time to try Clara Belles, and it did not disappoint. From the minute we entered until we left, we felt welcome. Donna and husband were terrific. She shared the origin of some of their recipes, which were yummy. We had the rye swirl French toast, quiche, and chicken apple sausage wraps with roasted potatoes .... so good. We’ll be back. Love it🥰

We had an amazing dining experience this evening. The food, the atmosphere, and the folks at Clara Belle's were wonderful. They red cabbage was the best I have ever had. I can hardly wait to come back and enjoy the hospitality and great eats!

Clara Belle and her husband are so sweet. The food was absolutely delicious. My husband got a Reuben and I got their special sandwich. The best sandwiches I've ever tasted. I was holding my 3 month old son when she brought the food out, and she went and washed her hands, removed her apron and offered to hold him. She held and bounced him while I ate my food. We will definitely be back.

After seeing the facebook and reviews for a few weeks we got a chance to go and try their German dishes and were very impressed. The brats and pork chops very good and authentic. The kraut was milder and NOT bitter at all, red cabbage good, 3 bean salad was extremely good something I've never been a fan of til I tried theirs. One of the best parts was the dipping sauces great German mustard sauce, but that curry ketchup sauce was different than any sauce you've ever tried.Makes you want to try it on other foods Not able to try deserts, but sent us home with some they recommended and they look great. Will know later when we're not so full. Highly recommend you try them at your convenience. Owners very nice friendly folks and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and please you.

Absolutely the best red cabbage I’ve had in the states. No sage! Everything was delicious. Portions enough for leftovers. Best lemon bars, not tart. Sweet atmosphere, light music played in background. The owners both came to table, very friendly. Menu has a variety of German, Italian, Mexican and Southern.

Call before you go, just to make sure they are open. Different Special every Fri. as well as Jazz & Blues later in the evening. This lady and her 😍 staff are tremendous and love to provide customers with the personal touch! She loves what she does and she heads and provides for the homeless.

If you eat here twice, the owners recognize and make sure you feel welcome. The food is good and the prices are good too. We enjoy any of the meals but the German night is special. Live music some nights too.

Small town medium size restaurant. Big heart felt family friendly atmosphere. Donna and Wayne Heinz are incredibly wonderful people to get to know. You'll be fed like Kings and Queens and laughter and love are options but abound in great quantities. Food is Very good and plentiful.

Great food. Friendly people. Loved it. Have been twice so far and both times loved the food and was impressed with the friendly owners, great atmosphere, and really reasonably priced. Love supporting local. We will be back again!

Make no mistake. When you step thru the doors of this little Cafe Bistro you have started a journey to an amazing food experience. Popular with old and young alike. Quaint, posh and fun. When the owner Donna Greets you. You feel as if she has known you for years. She will make you feel at home. Prepare some amazing food for you and bless your heart all in one evening. Try the desserts. Amazing as well. Her special tea that tease her about and call Branch water is like you wont be able to get enough of. I sometimes have to cut it with regular tea. Not that it's to sweet or anything like that but because it's so darn good. No reservations required.....
