I got the famous fried chicken, greens, and mac and cheese. I'd come back just to see the amazing team serving up this magic! But the food.....its such good soul food! That mac and cheese is something else. Try it! You won't regret it. The chicken was perfection and the greens were on point. They loved on us, treated us like family and served us a smoking hot delicious meal. 😋

So I finally made it in to try the food I ordered quite a few items not realizing they were closing soon! Still had the best service! I tried the jerk wings, fried catfish, smothered pork chops,, yams, greens, jalapeño cornbread everything was spot on except the greens they was wasn’t bad just not for me

Outstanding, friendly service! Piping hot food, well-worth the wait to have it made-to-order! The varied menu makes it really hard to decide what to have. Everything looks so good. I went with fried chicken, cabbage and green beans, they did not disappoint! Portion sizes generous too! Clean facility, clean bathrooms, no complaints here!

I ordered 3 meals from The Kitchen today. We got smothered pork chops, meatloaf and a wing basket. Everything was delicious! However, one of my sides and jalapeño cornbread were left out of my delivery. I called and was asked could I come get what was left off. I advised that I couldn't because I just really didn't feel like getting out of the house and after spending money on delivery fees, I did not feel like I should for an error that was not mine. I spoke to manager Simone who assured me, although they were extremely busy, that she would deliver what was left off. Simone delivered my missing items in about 20 minutes just like she said she was. She was so nice and kind! I will definitely order from the kitchen again. Not only is the food great, but the service was great and Simone went over and beyond to rectify an error they made. 5 stars!

The atmosphere, service and food were all great. My wife had catfish , mashed potatoes with cabbage and was truly impressed. My lemon pepper wings and fries were tasty. if I had one complaint it wild be I should have ordered more.

The service was very pleasant kinda like the respectful good old days. The food reminded me of some of my childhood and had some soul in it with flavors that blended so well and perfectly. The staff and owners treats you like family and you definitely feel like family. It was so great over requested to have my birthday dinner here on the 26th. I'd like to thank everyone there for such a pleasant experience and damned great good. See ya soon.

First and foremost... you'll feel like family when you walk through the door! If you happen to come through the drive thru please know that the cleanliness of the establishment has been vetted! Ive was in restaurant management for years and looking at things that "regular" patron don't.. I can tell you that cleanliness is TOP priority here! When it comes to food service.. the top 4 categories are cleanliness, Hospitality, speed of service, and product quality!!! I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that this establishment will deliver on all tiers at 100%!!! Way to go guys!!! Keep up the good work

One of my most excellent choices to stop. Don't go in if you are not hungry! Large portions of delicious home cooking. The photo is a grilled pork chop, bigger than steaks I've had at other restaurants. Seasoned green beans and buttered cabbage. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection.

They only thing they need to do is change the wording on the sign, which reads "Simply good food". Should say mouth watering excellent food!

We kind of happened upon this restaurant because someplace else we were wanting to try was closed, OH MY WORD are we glad to have tried it. I had the fried pork chop, greens, mac n cheese and cornbread. My wife had the Candied bacon burger, we both took one bite, loomed and one another and continued devouring our meals.
We will be going back and soon.

Loved this place! We got veggie plate and everything was delicious!! Was glad there wasn’t meat in veggies because we’re vegetarian! I think the cabbage was my fav! Seasoned so good! We loved black eyed peas and yams too! We got seconds of everything because food was so yummy! People are so nice here! Southern hospitality at its best! Customer service stellar! Clean restaurant and nice friendly vibes to dine in! Took some deserts to go like peach cobbler and they’re delicious too! We called ahead to see did veggies have meat and was glad they answered phone and were friendly over phone because that made us stop here on our travels. Would eat here again and recommend to others for sure!!!

Fresh off the grill cooking. Prices were reasonable for a home cooked meal. Steak was well seasoned and vegtables were fresh. I had not eaten a twice baked potatoe in a while and it was so worth it...skin and all...The shrimp was cooked with white wine and was so plumpaliciously fresh. I liked seeing my food being cooked with flames in the back. Place was clean, prices were reasonable and food was excelent! Great place to try! And they have drive thru you order at the window.

I love this restaurant the food is so delicious I love the Cobb salad as well as the grilled chicken it is seasoned to perfection if you are looking for some good ole soup food this is the place

This place is absolutely top notch !!! I recommend you visit if you want some good soul food.. .. Customer service was outstanding!!! The restaurant was clean , food was excellent (I had fried chicken, greens, yams, black eye peas , and the sweet tea is a must drink !!! . Bottom line it’s a hidden gem .. I definitely will be back again .

What a nice experience I had at The Kitchen. I ordered the catfish dinner. I must say, it was off the scale. 1st its real catfish not swai. The fillet was a nice size, seasoned & cooked to perfection.
The cabbage was crisp & not cooked to death. The yams will melt in your mouth. The atmosphere was clean & pleasant.
They have daily specials & happy hour specials.
Prices are reasonable as well. I will definitely visit again.

I will be going back for more. The food was good and the portion were great. I recommend the sweet tea, the best I've ever had.

Today was my first time ordering here. I'm a caregiver and me and my client eat out often for lunch. So I was looking for something new to try. And I'm glad I did! Everything was delicious. My client she loved it as well and couldn't stop saying how delicious it was. Will definitely be back, Maybe next I will try the meatloaf.

The Kitchen is a 5-Star, homemade destination! The portions are generous, and the food is seasoned to perfection. Your food is hot and the drinks are wonderful. The sweet tea is actually sweet. The staff keeps coming by to check on your needs. If you're having trouble deciding where to eat out, look no further. It's like going to Mama-nems for a family meal. I haven't had a meal there that wasn't finger licking good.Treat yourself, you'll thank me later.

This is a B.O.B. Staff was very friendly, had to wait a little while for food, due to most of the meat is cooked to order. The owner thought I waited a little to long for her liking and offered me a different meat to take at the time and ALSO DELIVERED MY ORIGINAL ORDER TO MY HOME @ FOR FREE!! NOW THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE and the way you rectify a situation.The food was very good. I will be back. (AND THERE WAS LOTS OF HANDWASHING BY THE STAFF WHICH I LOVED)

This place is really good the food is fresh and delicious and seasoned well. I definitely recommend the Fried Chicken cause it is definitely some of the best I ever had. If you don’t know it’s there you will miss it. I must say the manager of the place is awesome and professional!!!
