Brewer Bend South

For some reason I like this place. It has had its share of issues. Tornado came through there once and it's on the river and can flood. It needs a bit of maintenance in the shower house and there's only one shower and most of the time locked up. It's not fancy by any means but it has non electric sites along with 30&50amp sites. Very spacious and I've yet to hear of it being full I normally camp 6-7 times yearly there. It's quite there and a little bit of turnpike noise but not like noise at Spaniard Creek which is only a few miles north. There's a playground, two pit toilets, boat ramps. It's not listed anywhere I can find but if you're reading this you found it.

The sites and the location are top notch. The cove is perfect for fishing. There are multiple boat docks to use all around the three loops. The reason for the three stars is the junky camp host site, the dump station being unusable, and the tree litter that clogged the roads. I heard my first Catbird call there, so I will probably return, but plan around the dump site issue.
