Saxon's Hotdogs

With chili as smooth as Chris Stapleton, this place is the real deal! Amazing sandwiches and many hot dogs options... delicious...and the atmosphere, just gotta try it...I mean even if you need to drive a bit...worth it!!!!

Not much to look at from the road but a great place to grab a quick lunch. Hot dogs however you want and a good variety of sandwiches. Never disappoints. Also serve breakfast

I am a Small town foodie...I found this place while working in the country. My only complaint is that on Mondays they're closed! The service is Great, they prepare the food with a smile. The fun is contagious. They have Hotdogs, Breakfast, lunch and it's affordable. The Best!

Best hot dog I have ever eaten. Awesome dog & bun and incredible chili & slaw. Best hot dog chili ever. 10 minutes from Calhoun Falls State Park. Definitely worth the drive for a quick lunch or dinner. My family will definitely stop by anytime we are driving by. Thanks Sue!!!

Almost 3 years later and it’s still consistently great!! We were passing through and had to stop. We were surprised the staff remembered us and I had a great time conversing with them while I waited on our food. The place was packed but the food came out pretty fast. This time we also tried the pork sandwich. It was so good! I don’t know where they get those buns but they are the softest, most delicious buns anywhere. This place is iconic. Wonderful southern hotdogs. The "Skins" of Abbeville. And I mean the Hudgins Street Skins. Best dogs in the South. Worth the drive from Anderson.

This place is the poster child for for small town friendly convenience stores and the food is great. That have the closest thing to a WV hotdog that you can find outside of WV

Friendly people and very very good hot dog some of the best I've ever had. I'm a hot dogs nut I eat them all over the country wherever I find them I had a slaw dog and a chili dog. I was supposed to have two hotdogs a bag of chips and a lemonade for like 565.

Great hole in the wall hotdog spot. The hotdogs were very good. Don’t expect a fancy dining experience. It’s an old convenience store, but the people are friendly and the service was fast. We will stop again next time we’re in the area.

Yes! A nice hometown family business of many decades! Nice food and friendly people! Made us feel welcome ! My grand daughter has one request - please get hamburgers! No matter the hot dogs are great!!
