Talbott Elementary School

My children attend school here. This school may be small but has the best teachers, principle, and atmosphere around. They are rated one of the top schools in the county and one of the top in the state for education. My children are truly receiving a great education here.

Probably the best Elementary school in Jefferson County according to the reviews I have read and from personal experience! I'm VERY happy with this school. It's a small school, but I prefer smaller schools. I think that the teachers have more time to work with the children who are struggling in smaller schools. I feel comfortable with sending my daughter to Talbott. I don't have to sit back and bite my nails wondering if the teachers are terrorizing her like I do with my son who goes to Jefferson Elementary- which will be changed to Talbott asap! The teachers always seem nice and smiling and everyone seems to know each other. Dr. Sharp, the principal is pleasant to talk to; superly nice to students and parents. The only thing that I would change is the bathrooms need a good updating! But with it being such a small school, they are probably operating on a shoestring budget. Even with the bathrooms being old and outdated though, they don't stink and the school doesn't smell like a rotten food and stale gym socks.

This school is the best I wish I could just stay here the teachers are great the staff is great I give this school a 100/100...once a wildcat always a wildcat

My son goes here and really likes it. He moved down here a couple years ago and they opened up to him very quickly which eased the transition of the new school. His mother also said that the teachers are amazing there

I actually just went by i didnt stop.

Have to park and walk around the building to drop off the little kids. No matter how cold or how hard it's raining they have a police officer there to make sure no one parks anywhere near the entrance. They really need to do better than this.
