Great service and good food. Recently had a Philly there and it was very good. Cold beer and a fun environment. Everyone is friendly and they play good music. One of my favorite spots to go.

This place is a new gem in Kingsland. I came for the band playing, The River Rats, but was surprised on a few fronts: first, there is a great grassy area with lots of pinic tables, a big Oak that shades part of the area, and an actual stage--all between two bldgs (one on the water and one you access by car off 1431) that serve food, gas and beer--and that doesn't count a couple of food trailers that serve BBQ and cold beer right to the side; next, the prices are great--can't remember a place you could get $2 Dos Equis or 2 sausage wraps for $5 or brisquet tacos for the same--you can order whole pizzas, burgers--just about anything you'd want hanging out; third, the management and employees are super friendly and really bend over backwards to make your time visiting great; last, I noticed on the website that this place appears to have bands every weekend all summer--wow--that's just crazy for this small town, but so appreciated--clearly management has a vision for the future. At the end of the day, I'll go out of my way to support this local business--startups go under so often and I'd hate to lose this addition. Thank you, Wakepoint!

Great management, delicious burgers, and the potato salad is amazing! If you have issues, give em a chance to make it right! They absolutely cherish their customers satisfaction! Nothing but good vibes allowed!!! So glad to see a business offering quality food, respectful service at affordable prices!

Really great place. We were in town on a motorcycle trip with our kids and settled down one evening for live music and great food. Really cool view of the lake and boaters coming and going, along with a great vantage point to watch the sun go down over the lake. They were short staffed (like a lot of places these days) but I don't feel like we ever had to wait to long for anything. Nice, clean, good environment. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic place!! The BBQ was terrific and the fried chicken was honestly the best I've ever had. They had excellent live entertainment and the waitstaff was fun. Sister and I took Mom there for an early mother's day. The view, the breeze (the shade!!) and the food were all sublime.

When we can, we go to the Sunday morning Worship with the Reeds! There's always been something about hearing God's word outdoors, especially over the water. Music is awesome, pastor Alan Ray's message even better! Casual, but "Standing on Holy Ground" comes to mind. God's blessings

We went on a cold day but the heaters were on and the vinyl windows were rolled down so the temperature at the table was still very pleasant. We ordered the barbecue and will definitely do that again. It seems like a great spot to be when the sun comes out again and the weather warms up, we’ll see you again this summer.

Love going to the wake point every time we visit Kingsland. The staff is very attentive and helpful from the moment you dock your boat to the moment you’re back on the water. On our last visit, Addison made sure all of our drinks and food were perfect and served quickly. I will recommend anyone in the area to visit this establishment for the best time in Kingsland.

After being turned away from the Grand Central Cafe for our service animal, we spotted WakePoint. They were up to date on ADA and seated us with the hospitality one would expect in Texas. The patio sits above the lake and provides views from every seat.

The waitress, Avery, was kind and quick to provide menus and drinks. Our experience here was wonderful. Good food, great service, and amazing views!

Boat access, marine fuel, great food and service, highly recommend and it's a lot of fun if your looking for a place to hang out over the water relax have a beer and burger ( great burgers) by the way. And they have an awesome selection of wines too. The owner is always around and is such a kind and friendly man I will always go to Wakepoint whether I 'm on the road or on the water!

Great place for the entire family. Addison, a bar tender at the spot was extremely courteous and made sure we were taken care with exceptional service. If you plan on going ask for Addison and she will take great care of you!!!

We have been to Wakepoint several times and it is always clean and well managed. Food is good and priced right. Boat hands are always helpful. Staff is quality and make sure you are taken care of.
Now days it is hard to find a place of business that is clean, good and employs good workers.

Absolutely love Eating here with my friends. Beautiful sunset and wonderful atmosphere staff is very friendly and glad to help. Especially thankful for the hard working gentleman named Steven. Was very kind and gracious to help in anyway he could. Will for sure Make continuous trips to wake point.

I had a great experience when I brought my boat into Wakepoint. I was mostly impressed with the staff I was greeted and helped by a young man named Steven and he brought me my food after helping me tie off and fill my boat up with fuel. I enjoyed my experience very much due to the customer service.

The owners have done a top notch job and invested a ton of money to make this a go to spot on LBJ. Outstanding fuel docks although I didn't notice any dock side assistance with mooring. The deck top bar is outstanding and the barmaids are very friendly and check on you regularly. They could do with some misters to help keep the temperature below boiling because the AC in the bar does nothing. The food menu is somewhat limited but reasonably priced unlike the competition up the Llano which has sky high prices and not much better food. Small but decent selection of Texas craft beers although I'd like to see Alamo or Freetail from San Antonio. Looking forward to going back to experience the music venue just waiting for a band that's not country/western. May I suggest a 70's rock cover band?

Great bbq with helpful staff. Dog- friendly. Picnic benches with sunlight or shade. Farmer's market, live music, gas for your boats.
