Hwy 77 Cafe

Going to this little restaurant was a great experience. We were passing through town and just so happened upon this place. It looks so tiny from outside, but it's pretty spacious inside. Our waitress was very nice, and answered any questions we had about the menu. The burger was good, and the whole family enjoyed their meals. We had the banana pudding for dessert, and it was delicious. I'd highly recommend stopping here for lunch.

Very cool highway diner that appears in the middle of nowhere! Friendly service and great food with a nice vibe. Walls are covered with pictures of veterans, old and new and each is indexed with a number so you can see their name and information. Multiple generations too with things like "...son of #293." The index can be found on their website or they also have a tri-fold menu style printout that you can look at as well. Love this place!!

After passing this place several times while traveling, I finally got the chance to stop. Very pleasant experience! The food was delicious and the service was great. We tried the fried mushroom appetizer and it was perfect! The mushrooms were so big they had to be cut in 4ths to eat. The batter was delicious and not greasy at all! The meatloaf was a huge portion and tasty! The fish and shrimp combo plate was big enough to share and the onion rings were perfection! Hand-battered and deliciously crispy. The patty melt was flavorful and gooey. And the desserts were delicious. Everyone got something different and no one was disappointed. The peach cobbler was big enough to share with 3 people. We will be back!

Traditional restaurant set up and it is super clean. Food is very fresh cooked. Dish price is reasonable with great high food quality. Employees were very helpful and patient.

After a romantic drive; what an amazing treat! The staff made us feel comfortable. The food came out hot and tasted delicious! The atmosphere gave well deserved respect to our military personnel!

So glad we stopped here to eat! I can't think of a comparable restaurant that has such delicious homemade food! The veggies alone are so good that I end up ordering the Veggie plate just to enjoy how fresh and perfectly cooked and seasoned they are.

Woke up and decided we needed some mom and pop, home style food. We found this place and it DID NOT disappoint. Food was fresh and delicious, staff was helpful and very polite. Love the atmosphere, very relaxing and has a great decorative theme. Absolutely recommend trying. We will certainly be back!! ❤❤

Great little comfort food cafe. Staff is nice and attentive. Not fast food, so don't expect it in less than 15 minutes.

Amazing Cafe with great food and service. We arrived a little late (11am) for breakfast, but they were kind enough to feed us breakfast anyways.

Wow, awesome breakfast, food was great, very good service, friendly and happy staff! Can't wait to get back over this way to try their lunches!

First: food was outstanding for some little mom/pop place! Onion rings were delish!
Second: service was amazing! I mean hands down amazing!!
Third: hard core social distancing and masks and reminders and sanitizers really on it here!
Fourth: the women’s restroom was so clean and inviting!! Lucille Ball quote on full size mirror, purse hook, just awesome!
If you are in the area it’s a MUST STOP! Worth the 20 min wait outside! Ceiling and atmosphere were really cool too!

Chicken Fried Steak was amazing. Service outstanding. We drove 3 hours jist to try this restaurant and it didn't disappoint.

Food was fabulous! Restaurant was impeccably clean and has a warm atmosphere 👌 Along with the food, the best thing is the "Wall of Heroes". Over 600 pictures of veterans who have served our country. Makes you feel proud to be sitting among these heroes 🇺🇲🇺🇲

Excellent service. Great food. I try to plan my trips so I can stop by and enjoy some good homestyle cooking. The liver and onions are perfect.

We took the drive down based on a friend's recommendation and I am glad we did. Friendly staff and a clean country atmosphere. My liver and onions was okay (great brown gravy) while my girlfriend's chicken fried steak was fantastic. Great desserts as well. No booze but you can byob. You don't need to though as the food is great.

Me and my wife was going to Rosebud to pick up some stuff and decided to stop and check this place out. Love the look, very American. I got the chicken fried steak and my wife got catfish. We also got the fried mushroom appetizer. The mushrooms were very good and our plates of food was really good as well. Service was good as well. Will have to visit this place again sometime.

First time going and definitely won’t be my last. Me and my family really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and welcoming smell of home cooked food. You can tell they actually put time and flavor into their food. The prices are more then fair especially in this time in age. 10/10 would definitely recommend!
