The Vine on Middle Creek

My husband and I just had an amazing weekend stay here! Happily secluded, but only a 10min drive from down town. The room was so nice, spacious and clean. The property was gorgeous plus the hosts were so friendly and gave us recommendations of things to do in town while serving us great breakfast! We even got a bonus dog for the weekend who loves guests. We definitely recommend!

Absolutely phenomenal. I am so impressed and in the future when we visit this is where we will be staying. Owners were absolutely incredible, very inviting and kind. Wonderful hospitality. Room was beautiful and comfortable, they have toiletries, just all around amazing. Would give more stars if I could.

We’ve visited Fredericksburg a handful of times and stayed at different airbnbs. This was our first time staying at The Vine, and we will definitely be returning. It’s far away enough to where you get to enjoy the quietness of the country but close enough to town to where it’s not a far drive to all the shops on main street. The cabins are super nice, clean, & cozy. Our favorite parts of our stay was the breakfast each morning (AMAZING!) and playing fetch with their dog Zoe.

We absolutely loved our time staying at The Vine on Middle Creek! It exceeded our expectations and made our anniversary weekend wonderful and relaxing. Craig is a phenomenal host! Every detail has been carefully thought through. The breakfast is delicious and you definitely don’t want to miss out! It feels like an Oasis away from the busyness of life and we left feeling refreshed. We cannot wait to go back!

This was our first time staying at the Vine on Middle Creek and we had the best time. Down time inside our cabin was so relaxing between the fireplace and the large tub. It’s also so fun to be staying on a vineyard! We will definitely be back. Craig was great and helped with anything we needed. Super comfy beds as well as linens too!

Our son celebrated his wedding this last weekend nearby and our entire family stayed at the Vine. What a wonderful find!
The property is gorgeous, the rooms are REALLY nice and the daily breakfasts made by Craig and his crew are fantastic. Huge rooms with every detail seen to (great beds, refrigerator and coffee maker, lovely linens, fireplaces and huge whirlpool tubs), a roaming herd of deer and the delightful Zoe the border collie to play with. It couldn't have been better.
Plus they have a Tesla charger - Bonus!

Our family absolutely loves this place. We will not stay anywhere else in Fredericksburg! Most incredible breakfast in the mornings, a beautiful environment, and an awesome host. We will be come back year after year.

A hidden gem! The Vine on Middle Creek was recommended by a friend and we were amazed. Great scenery, quiet, peaceful and tranquil. Just less than 5 minute drive from town. Highly recommended for a couples getaway or simply escape the busy city life along with family. Kids will love the natural wildlife (deer) experience. We shall return. The Vine on Middle Creek is a must. Loved our getaway. Our hosts were welcoming, polite, amazingly friendly and hospitable. Great stay.

If you are looking to go to Fredericksburg for a relaxing getaway The Vine at Middle Creek is the place for you! This is my husband and I’s third time staying here! Craig, the owner, along with Roger and Anna make you feel at home immediately when you arrive! The cabins are cozy with luxury upgrades. The five star breakfast served every morning will spoil you rotten and keep you full for the day! Main street is only 10 minutes away but the 100 plus acres of property, view of vineyard and deer greeting you in the morning while drinking your coffee makes you feel like you are 100 miles away and gives you the peace you need away from the hustle and bustle of daily life! Do not keep looking past the The Vine when wanting to come to Fred! You won’t regret it!

Amazing experience all around. 10/10 recommend, cottage and shared area is clean, quiet, organized! Everything you can ask for when on a nice getaway from the city. Craig is attentive, kind and has awesome local recommendations if you need ideas. Thank you Craig!

So, you've decided to spend some time in Fredericksburg, Texas. Good choice. Great location with plenty to do and lots to see. But where to stay? There are a bunch of great choices and I've stayed in some of them. But the BEST choice by far is The Vine on Middle Creek. Perhaps best suited for a couple's getaway, it offers just six, large, rooms ("cottages") that are luxuriously appointed with a king-sized adjustable bed, electric fireplace, a double walk-in shower, a couple's jacuzzi tub, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, and coffee maker. It is located in a secluded spot within a grape vineyard with ample deer sightings. Zoe, the compound's dog, is a great addition and will engage with you, or not, as you wish.

The best part of this best place are the folks who run it. Craig, Roger, and the entire staff are friendly, personable, attentive, responsive, and they seem to have intuition about each guest's specific needs. They serve a killer breakfast every morning and you would be remiss to miss even one. It is well worth getting up and starting your day with their homemade fare.

There is a community firepit, but you can be as social, or as anti-social, as you desire. It is a quick drive to Fredericksburg, yet far enough off the path to feel very secluded.

I just returned from The Vine on Middle Creek and it will be my only overnight destination in Fredericksburg from now on -- it was that good.
