Really great place to eat if you’re nearby. Definitely worth the stop! I had the steak and my husband had the buffet. It was $10.99 for all you can eat home made chicken fried steak, fried chicken and lots of other things. Service was excellent and ambiance is cute and rustic!

Stopped here while traveling from Atx. The food is great but I recommend the steaks. The restaurant itself is nice inside as its filled with antiques and our waiter was super nice and attentive. Would stop here again!

Small West Texas steakhouses are true hidden gems in the state. Beefmaster is no exception. If you didn't know it was there it is very easy to miss even with Google we had to turn around because we drove past it. But if you have the patience you will be rewarded with some awesome steaks nice tender and perfectly cooked. Fair warning if you get the mesquite wood grilled steak it will have a strong flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed it my wife not as much. The good news is you can get them cooked on a flat iron instead of mesquite in case you're worried the flavor will be too strong. The onion rings were piled high and cooked amazingly nice and crispy with a little bit of char on the onion. Well worth a stop if you find yourself in the great big metropolis of Ballinger

Great steak. Great service. Very chill atmosphere. The kids were happy and ate everything, and the staff were very friendly. Ribeye was perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned well. The kids sirloin and chicken tenders were also delicious. Salad bar was clean and yummy. I would also highly recommend the Texas sheetcake.

Great place. Adding to the steakhouse tour. We've been all the way up to Wyoming and back trying steaks. Food and atmosphere was great. Saw a negative review about cleanliness in the restraunt, we were not sure what they were referring to, the place is clean and restrooms clean as well. Staff is on it in this place with attention to customers and other details.

I LOVE this place!When I went there I was looking to get a good steak and a salad bar. Upon getting there, it was a buffet special on Thursday. They had the best brisket, ribs, sausage, pulled pork, and smoked chicken breasts I've ever had. I will go back and get a steak after tasting the way the meats were cooked on the buffet. I loved the rustic atmosphere and decor, and the waitress was so nice and accommodating that I can't wait for a return trip! If you are ever in Ballinger, make a stop at this restaurant! You will get a great meal at a good price!

Steakhouse was definitely packed today, being mothers day weekend. Very friendly atmosphere. Buffet is where it's at folks! Beefmasters offers buffet or off the menu options. So you can't go wrong with either choice. Staff is fast paced, attentative and friendly!
Today's buffet options, consisted of steak or fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, onion rings, fried okra, squash, cabbage, brussel sprouts, fried mushrooms, corn and beans.
Plus a full salad bar and soups!
Soup of the day- potato or taco.
Food was Amazing! Needed a hint of salt but other than that flavor was on point!
Plentiful and filling. The sweet tea was perfect for this triple digit Texas weather!
Dessert was a nice sliver of chocolate cake!
So rich and a perfect way to finish off the meal.
This steakhouse didn't disappoint! We ate waaaay too much and enjoyed every bit if this food stop! Now, it's nap time!!
If ever in Ballinger, Texas be sure to stop into Beefmasters Steak house!

Small town atmosphere with homemade taste. Between the rustic appearances inside to the friendly smiles this place just feels right. Great breakfast at amazing prices and a daily lunch buffet worthy of any big appetite.

Had lunch at Beefmasters in Ballinger. It's a very down home place. The staff were very attentive. The food was good! My husband and son had the Mexican buffet. They enjoyed it. My granddaughter and I had steak fingers and chicken tenders. It was great! Gravy like I used to make!

The food was fresh and good and I enjoyed eating here.

The Devore takes you back to one of the first postage stamp machines and first phone!! Really dated!! Nice and Clean!! Really great steak!!

Great food, no frills joint. The staff could use some pointers on greeting and friendliness. The dessert is also great! Overall a place I’d like to visit regularly.

Classic West Texas comfort food! Everything I've eaten here has been fantastic. Steak, chicken fried steak, and possibly the best burger around. Super friendly folks. You will not be disappointed!

Great experience. Killer lunch special, great boneless chicken and buffalo sauce, salad bar was good as well. For the price, we were more than pleasantly surprised. We emptied our plates and a pint.

Beefmaster truly lives up to it's name! When the special of the day is better than what you get at fancy steak houses, you know you have found a gem of a place. Another great sign is that that don't water down the ranch! 10 out of 10 would grub again!

The best burger I have ever had. Stop to have them on the way up to CO with my dad. Pretty big portions, I only had to take one bite to get hooked on them. The pictures don't do them justice, I forgot to take them before I took a bite lol.
