Scottish Inns & Suites Merkel, TX

I was here for a week really nice and quit motel room , service every day
No load music or drunks hanging out in the parking lot
I would recommend this hotel to anyone !!

It's an aged and friendly place a senior couple runs.
There are zero bugs of any kind that I've seen.
I paid $75 for a double my equipment was safe and it was a great value !
As a small business owner I applaud the folks hear for keeping it going let's help them help us by giving them our support !

The owners of this motel are very accommodating and go out of their way to make sure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are quaint and comfortable and some of the cleanest you will find compared to other hotel/motels. The restaurant next door offers delicious home cooking at a 10% discount from it's already reasonable prices for motel guests. The area is quiet and peaceful. I'd definitely stay here any time I'm in the area and in need of a room.

Rooms were a little dated, but they were clean and the owner at the front desk was very courteous. I will definitely be staying here again, next time I pass through.

Older hotel but kept up well and very clean. Nicest owner in the world. Little country restaurant attached with good eats.

The Scottish Inn is a home away from home. The rooms are always clean. Andy and Elisabeth are friendly and always have a smile on their face.

Love the food in in the Restaurant. It called Cheryl's Clearfork. New to the area and this is my breakfast spot

I am here while I'm work an oilfield related work and I'm very very reasonable price for pretty decent rooms and couldn't ask for better owners and hospitality the owners are great great people

I went for a work meeting and the staff was super friendly. The space was very modern. Will definitely be back!
