I had a great hunt with rock canyon ranch. The trip began with a complimentary pick up from the Del Rio airport. Once I arrived at the ranch I was greeted by John Hurta the ranch Forman and had a wonderful lunch prepared by the cook, Abraham. Each day at the ranch was a five star experience, from the food to the interactions with the staff. John went above and beyond each day of the hunt to make sure I was able to get the quality of game I wanted. I will hunt again at Rock Canyon Ranch.

I’ve been to RCR three times over the past several years. I call it one of the most beautiful places I’ve been hunting. I plan to make lots of return visits until I can’t do it anymore!!

Nature preserve in Val Verde County, TexasDevils River State Natural Area is a 37,000-acre section of three ecosystems, the Edwards Plateau, the Tamaulipan mezquital and the Chihuahuan Desert. It is located 66 miles north of Del Rio, Val Verde County in the U.S. state of Texas. In 1857, future Confederate General John Bell Hood and a small U.S. Cavalry force skirmished with a group of Comanche braves along the banks of the Devil's River. source
